    Alpha Cinema Club is a brand that embodies the essence of the 80's genre, culture, generation fused in with today's culture and style. Very vibrant and bold colors, images and meanings. A brand to speak for the retro lovers of this generation and of the past generations. It is heavily inspired by the new wave and soundtrack of classic 1980s films, video games, cartoons and television shows. It is commonly known for its retro-futuristic style emulating science fiction and actions movies from that decade. With this in mind we’ve created this channel for anyone feeling nostalgic about 1980s culture or embracing this relatively new life style. Instead of Ridley Scott doing a sequel/prequel to Gladiator, he should release this in 4K. Off topic, can Parliament do Black Hawk Down in 4K. That would be epic with the shooting sequences and very challenging with the sound effects

    @@millsshumps1968 Black Hawk Down is already out on 4K. That's another Ridley classic. If Gladiator was an all- time epic Gladiatorial tale of blood and sand then Black Hawk Down it's the greatest recreation of Modern Warfare ever committed to film. The Englishman knows how to make a damn good flick I'll say.

    @@AwkwardDuck88 yeah you're right but that kind of aesthetic body probably wasn't desirable for gladiators. Archaeological finds indicate they ate a lot of wheats to and beans. This probably gave them the necessary layers of fat to protect there vital organs for surface cuts, while at the same time giving the crowd a bloody (non lethal) spectacle. They were very muscular alright, just not perfectly in shape like athletes.

  • @CountArtha
    @CountArtha2 жыл бұрын

    Maximus figured out a way to meta-game this little test that would let him thrive when the REAL competition started. The Romans had a saying that "the tallest poppy gets cut down first," and hiding the fact that he was the best fighter in the whole bunch lets Maximus be a big fish in a small pond. He realizes the gladiators are being sorted into "red" and "yellow" classes, with the stronger fighters being red. He was hiding his power level (so to speak) so he'd be classed as yellow, facing weaker opponents. Proximo has something different in mind, pairing yellow and red fighters into two-man teams for a tournament melee - but it still works out for Maximus because instead of being given a weak "yellow" ally, he gets to fight with a strong 'red ally," Juba, and they are easily the most bad-ass team in the melee.

    The sad tragedy of gladiator game is no body ever wonder where all those Lions, Giraffes, Leopards and Elephants came from…it wasnt the Savana of South Africa but from North Africa. North Africa even had brown Bears…now they all gone extinct thanks to humans wanting to see some action.

    Well start up breeding program to reintroduce them. Added wolves back to Yellowstone National Park. Different times had different views. Just remember once you go to restore what you think your sad about not having anymore. Find the lands instead are dangerous to explore. It was the act of restoring what you were told that could be wrong. Another thing as well. The animals from the south of continent would eventually move back in. So long as the terrain favored their living needs.

Thats I’m big and do what I want size. Id guess today though if hiking you would be prepared. Wiki must be wrong if you say they are still in captivity. Wiki said status was extinct. Id figure grow captive ones to about 10. Release them in remote region they would continue. Keep captive ones if course. Even if population his a reasonable number.

Perfect example of never letting your boss know what you can do or else he will make you do it from now on. Do the bare minimum and when something needs to be done well you do it to leverage a promotion or pay.
