Looks structurally messy. Like they’re trying to wedge too many thing into it.

The trailer look decent, then HipHop started playing. Face Palm. Denzel is awesome. Pedro Pascal is a good actor. Hope the movie does well and I hear good word of mouth. We didn't need a sequel though

I heard Djimon Hounsou was coming back with Connie Nielson, but he's nowhere to be found in the trailer. Looked it up and Wikipedia said he had to drop out for scheduling :( The other actors are great, and I would normally be super excited to see Denzel and Joseph Quinn play total psychos, but I sadly will probably spend the whole movie lamenting Hounsou's absence.

For me, Denzel Washington looks the Best thing about the Movie. He brings Quality to every role. Because of Denzel I'll be in the Que to see it in the Cinema.

Not sure how I feel about the storyline or the rebooting of such a classic, but I have to admit Denzel looks friggin' amazing!

Denzel could’ve been playing a character that was Ethiopian or from Carthage so it’s not out of the norm.

I had grave misgivings when I heard about this - agreeing with many of you that the original "Gladiator" was complete and excellent and needed no sequel - but this trailer has me thinking that it might be very good indeed.

Please, please, don't put Ridley anywhere close to the camera anymore..

Denzel was able to pull it off in the remake of Magnificent7. Let's hope he pulls this one off also, though it'll need a miracle considering the aura of Original Gladiator.

What the hell! Now don't get me wrong the first Gladiators was inaccurate and I will forever rant about it, but for the love of God two is messed up!!!!!! The visual effects looks amazing, but what the hell with the rest!!! Also if you want to put Denzel Washington in ancient times, why couldn't it be a accurate movie about a certain time period of the Egyptians and or Nubians!?!?!

I wasn't going to go to this after that turd Ridley Scott put out in "Napolean" then I saw the Naval Battle. To think that they may have actually flooded the place for something like that is incomprehensible. Hope this movie is at least decent.

I'm a little apprehensive about this movie having essentially the same plot as the original, but I'm still looking forward to it. Ridley is a very hit-or-miss filmmaker, but he's got a solid cast and some awesome cinematography backing him up. I'm ready for him to unleash hell.

Go watch the official trailer for the original film - you will see a much more grounded film

Nothing will compare to the original Gladiator, so the filmmakers just had some fun with this one. That's all.

I don't like the music for this, but the film looks good, so I will give it a chance. If it's bad, that's fair enough, bash it, but I'm sick of people gatekeeping past films. Can you imagine if they went to make Empire Strikes Back today? "The first one was perfect; what a cash grab; why bother" I don't see it matching the first one; a lot of classics come out with the right cast and, at the right time, a bit of magic, but I will gladly settle for "A good" film.
