I was gonna sugest Pyroar at first, but since it was used for Simba, I guess the closest thing is either Arcanine or Entei

My sister and I simultaneously went "awwww" when you explained the logic for Terra having Dugtrio. I found Drampa ironic for Xehanort because Drampa protects children and Xehanort definitely does not do that. For Demyx, I think the low-key form of Toxtricity would have been better, it's BLUE and also a bit like... lazier? Than the amped version you used. That said, I love this concept and a lot of the pokemon you chose and loved hearing your logic. Welcome back!

Young Xehanort could be considered somebody who protects children, since he was on a quest to try and find his missing upperclassmen, but yeah bessides that Eraqus would probably fit more in line with that logic

Two actually, the Tapu are legends. Coincidentally those three (and clefable) make her the strongest of the destiny island trio, by a lot.

I think the only thing I have nitpicks about, as someone who doesn't know much about pokemon, is that Saix should have a lycanrock in his team since he has a big werewolf motif in the series, from him getting powered up and losing control from the moon to his heartless in union cross being a brand new werewolf heartless made for him specifically. The rest is really great and fitting

I have never thought of Saix as a werewolf, but I guess it does make sense. I've always thought of him as some elegant barbarian myself, becoming a "Lunatic" as his ambitions draw closer and closer to fruition.

when I saw Zekrom in Ansem's team I was fully expecting Reshiram in Xemnas's team since those were originally 1 pokemon that split into Zekrom and Reshiram. The black and white colors of these pokemon are also the same as the heartless/nobody colors

Assorted Thoughts: - Koraidon is perfect for Mushu because he fits the image Mushu has for himself in his own head. - I picture Pheromosa sitting off to the side brushing Namine's hair while she draws. It's a cute image I needed to share. - Without a doubt Xehanort's Gogoat is his strongest Pokémon. - Instead of Banette I would have had Malamar for Vanitas. It is one of the handful of mons the Pokédex outright paints as a complete bastard. It also loves playing mind games, probably Vanitas' favorite pastime. Ursula should have Barraskewda, because she seems to like having carnivorous sea creatures as pets. - You missed the perfect Pokémon for Hades by a number of days. Whatever Greavard evolves into would be perfect for him. - Vexen would have Regice as a power source. I could see it moving around the edge of the battlefield being a big battery for Vexen's ice attacks. - One way to have Demyx's fight be even more infuriating is to have a bunch of Ludicolo dancing around the arena mocking you. The other form of Toxtricity would have fit better, just for no other reason than being blue. - Luxord: "Let me share with you the genius of Explorers of Sky." - Straight up disagree with the Pete/Maleficent choices. 100% should have been Purugly and Garchomp. Garchomp is arguably the best Pokémon in terms of stat allocation and even if that weren't true, Maleficent would buy into that because it's an imposing dragon. Purugly is just Pete as a Pokémon. And I know that creates a problem with Gula, which is why he should get Sneasel instead.

The Master of Master one made me choke on my dinner I was laughing so hard. That was hilarious.

I could see kairi’s first pokemon being either a cleffa or a yellow Minior that fell to Destiny Islands with her!

Saix should definitely have a shiny midnight lycanroc. It evolves from bonding with rocruff during the night. It's shiny form is blue matching with his hair. And it has crazy eyes which are close to Saixs eyes during his berserk form. It's the perfect fit at least in my opinion.

A suggestion that could work for a few characters (Kairi, Sora, Aqua to name a few): Ampharos. It’s Pokémon Gold Dex Entry says “The tail's tip shines brightly and can be seen from far away. It acts as a beacon for lost people.” which feels very appropriate for KH

loved this idea, i think invi could also have mimikyu to represent the envy

Clefable is also an "alien" Pokemon, and Kairi was an alien to Destiny Islands.

I didn't know there was a Phalanx-inspired pokemon, but you're right. It'd be an ultimate symbol of friendship. I also don't blame you for the Heartless/Pokemon flub since I basically see them as the same thing in the journal. Just a list of animals I gotta hunt down and assault.

Love the thought put into these! Love that terra’s dugtrio is terra aqua and ven.

Braviary's feathers even kind of look like Sora's hair

Slight missed opportunity to give Kairi a flower themed pokemon, not only to reflect her keyblade, but also because she grew up in Radiant *Garden*. For possessive pokemon you could still use, there's Golurk, Yamask, and even Phantump. I noticed no death themed pokemon for Marluxia, but I see what you were going for there. I get the feeling you don't like my boy Ventus, so now I accept the challenge to come up with my own team for 'em. All in all great job and fun video

I am the key crossover demographic here and you're already on point with so many of these. I think for Kairi, you could swap Diancie or Alomamola out for a Florges/Floette or a Comfey, just to fit the floral design on Destiny's Embrace.

For Kairi, I feel like maybe having a grass, flowery Pokemon would have been good based on her keyblade. Maybe like Bellossom or the Tsareena line. Also, Magearna could have been a good choice based on its Soul-Heart ability.

Alomomola is also a reference to her Destiny Islands life because it's a tropical fish. :)

Ven should have had Snorlax because he's a sleepy boy. And Naminé should have had Jigglypuff because of the whole putting people to sleep thing. I watched the whole video even though I've never played Pokémon since Gen 1 so I had no idea who 90% of those were lmao

Roxas’s was so well thought out (the whole list was tbh) but it’s so impressive omg

Duraludon is literally a skyscraper, being based on The Shard, so it works well for Xemnas, especially if you look at its Gigantamax form. Also, Namine's dress is adorable, and she always looks amazing and in need of a hug.

Love it! I would expand the trio thing you did with Terra-I’d give Ven Dodrio. Aqua could maybe get a Wiglett evolution if Scarlet and Violet end up doing that. And a Magneton for Larxene bc of the clones thing.

I think it would be cool idea for the black and white legends trio to go to the Xeanhort forms. Zekrom goes to Xehanort because he pushes his ideals over all else. Only seeking what he think will help the world Xemnas gets Kyruem since both are the husks left behind And Ansem gets Reshiram. While not an dark pokemon it is the Truth. Which Ansem is the seek of darkness yet but also truths. Idk I'm not the best to explain it but I think its neat enough. While Xehanort having Zekrom is a bit odd while Xemnas gets Kyerum I feel it works best, cosndiering even KH breaks its own rules sometimes

Personally, I think Coalossal would fit Pete better, mostly because both are huge, bulky boys, and Coalossal is supposed to be based on steam/coal-powered machinery, which I feel would be a subtle reference to Timeless River and Steamboat Willie.

MoM is the reason for why the Pokemon League banned trainers from using Unown.

The competitively best teams are between Namine, Xehanort, and Xigbar though I think Xigbar might have the edge. Kind of depends entirely on Xehanort’s Arceus, what type it is and what set it’s running

I would've given Zexion Litwick. They have similar hair. I can also picture the rest of that line hanging out with him in the basement of Castle Oblivion.

I’m the manga, Gastly possesses people to do really messed up stuff and even reanimates corpses, in which the protagonists had to cut the corpse zombies in half to get them to stop attacking. That’s where the signature “arbok sliced in half” picture comes from. It was an undead zombie being cut to pieces, not a “living” being. Lavender Tower was freaking wild. And Blue was almost killed via suffocation.

What a fun idea. Really enjoyed the video!

I kinda get your logic for Roxas having the Solrock for light but I feel Solrock is more fitting for Axel. You did the red and blue thing for him and Saix, but considering Saix has moon powers, and Axel has fire powers and Chakram and shaped liek the sun, they are clearly a sun and moon pair.

This is a neat video, I've never been into pokemon but still enjoyed it, I did something similar not that long ago where I chose yugioh archetypes for all the KH characters

There IS one envy-related Pokemon you could have given Invi: Mimikyu. Mimikyu dresses itself up like Pikachu because it's envious of the love Pikachu receives and wants people to love it the same way.

This is the KH content I crave and you are the KH KZreadr we deserve.

I think Sora should have had Victini. The Victory pokemon and the one that cannot stop being happy. It just lines up personality wise to me.

Two ideas I had: -Donald should get Mismagius, both because it best fits the FF Black Mage aesthetic KH Donald goes for and because it can learn Perish Song, which much like Zettaflare, can kill basically anything but at the cost of its user's own life (unless you switch out/invoke the power of waking). Only problem is I don't really know what Pokemon Maleficent would get instead if we're going to avoid duplicates, probably a dragon of some sort. Mega Charizard X? -Clayton should get Kecleon for the Stealth Sneak parallel, which fits him better than owning a Pokemon of a species he really doesn't have any interest in doing anything with besides murder. Again, I don't know what Zexion would get if we're avoiding duplicates, and unlike Maleficent I don't even know what direction you'd go in. If you really wanted to cheat as to what qualifies as a "different Pokemon" you could just give Zexion Purple Kecleon from Mystery Dungeon and let Clayton have the base form because it closer resembles Stealth Sneak. Otherwise, pray Gen 9 adds a book Pokemon, I guess

I loved this! In the same vein that the Wayfinder trio got the Swords of Justice, I think giving our other two protag trios (Destiny trio and Days trio) legendary trios could be really cool! I personally am a big fan of the Days trio having the legendary beasts (Entei, Raikou, and Suicune) because of the connection of being reborn from the ending of a previous life.

At first I didn't get why Xion has a Porygon2, but then it hit me: Porygon2 evolves when an Upgrade is used on a regular Porygon. So her having a Porygon2 is a subtle reference to how she's an upgrade compared to every other character in the series because she's the best.

Saw Sudowoodo on Xion’s team and immediately thought it was because of: “Roxas, that’s a stick.”

Sees Lucario on Riku's team. Me: "Oh that's clever, because some of Riku's moves throughout the series are labeled as Dark Aura, which is Lucario's whole thing" Pat: "Lucario just because, they're the same guy, does anyone else see that?" Also, I will say that while you are spot on with Hoopa and the magician ability, said ability is not exclusive to Hoopa, as it also is the hidden ability of the Fennekin line, of which Braixen could also serve as a nice reference to Donald's tendency to spam fire magic and the fact it has a staff of its own.

These are so good! I love Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts, I’d love to see these game series come together. Oh, please do Pokemon Anime characters if they were to have Keyblades! Examples: Ash, Dawn, Professor Kukui, Nando, Gladion, Leon.

I imagine Sora would have at least 1 friendship evolution pokemon, given his "My friends are my power!" motto. Like possibly Espeon given Riku and Kairi have an eeveelution so that could be symbolic of the trio's friendship in a way. Also if Lingering Will had multiple pokemon, I think he'd have Azelf as well because of its association with willpower.

Suggestions: Plusle for Minnie & Minun for Mickey Lycanrock (Forms) Midday = Sora Midnight = Vanitas Dusk = Roxas Registeel for Lingering Will Move Zebstrika to Larxene's team (better fit) Give Ansem SoD a Ninjask and Xemnas a Shedinja
