@@Gamefan86 incorrect the original sabbath is on a Saturday in the Hebrew calendar and before Constantine implanted the religion as Romes and before he changed the sabbath to a Sunday witch is still considered the Lords day even before all of that Christianity blew up in Rome after Jesuses resurrection so much so it influenced Rome and the Catholics turned following Christ into a pagan sec as they continue to worship pagan gods. Christmas is pagan is not Christs actual birthdate . Easter pagan holiday, you name it’s . The misconception people have is from how Rome intergraded pagan traditions and worship witch produced a stigma and falsified the actual Gospal and the testimony of Jesus Christ Rom killed 100s of thousands of pure Christ followers that actually were present or second generation followers of Christ that started Christianity. I attended the university of Texas in Austin and first witnessed Cliff do these talks in 2007 by chance. I was so encouraged and challenged. After that my faith grew exponentially and I could not deny the reality of Jesus. I realized the importance of having answers for my faith. Praise God for this ministry.

While I was away from home, in the Navy, my little 14 yo sister had a daughter. She to this day has never told us who the father was or what the situation was. Some asked her why she didn't get an abortion or give the baby up for adoption. She just said it's my baby and I will take care of her. That was about 49. Years ago. Her little girl grew up to become a school teacher, a Christian, married a preacher and has two of the best kids I have ever known. Her little girl has graduated college, become a teacher herself at the same school her mother teaches in. While in college she was into sports and lead several of her friends to Jesus. This just how one life has made the world a better place for countless others. Abortion is such a tragic thing when there are so many other viable options out there. There are rare occurrences where abortion might be the only viable option but I think it is much rarer than the enemy leads us to believe.

Kids these days are STARVED for open dialogue. They are so curious about the world and their place in it, and they are so used to being silenced by peer pressure and the MSM. They probably LOVE this.

I pray anyone that was listening to the preaching of cliff was listening closely because that’s a blessing

I think is better for us to read Genesis 1: 27-28, 2: 7, 15, 18. Also we have to understand about where salvation comes from. I think it's the same ideology as Creation. Creation and Salvation were both created out of wisdom and goodness and only from God alone period.

Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of but not macro or micro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I receive such a blessing when I hear you speaking about the gospel!!

I was a student at UT-Austin in the late 1990’s and remember him engaging with those with hostilities with patience, sound reason and love. I never knew his name or where he was from but I was encouraged that SOMEONE was bold enough to stand for Christ (even as I was weak in my faith at the time). He was and is a light in very dark places.

Great as usual. Apologetics 101. I’ll never forget walking through campus at UC Santa Barbara in 1990, and seeing this crowd of people gathered around Cliffe. I missed class that day because I was so mesmerized at the way he could defend my faith in a way I never could. Picked up his book, I have it to this day. And I’ve been a fan ever since. I hope one day to meet him.

@@speedoggy for the same reason that God gave the jewish people certain commandments and rituals to keep after moses led them out of egypt. To break the psychology of their slavery to pharaoh, god instituted rituals to reinforce their faith and freedom, unshackle their burdens of slavery. Look at african americans today, saying that the reason they live in poverty and struggle, etc is because of the societal and cultural effects of their slavery. Well God undid that for the jews, in one of the most clever ways i could ever imagine. So to answer your question. Christians do not observe the same rituals and commandments because God didnt need them too, God doesnt do something without their being reason. A new covenant was created with Jesus that supersedes that of Moses. Because God outwitted the Devil, he payed the ultimate price for our souls, if we accept the offer of forgiveness. The devil can never get his hands on us, and it enrages him, that he fell for Gods plan in Jesus.

The people standing there listening to this wisdom are so blessed. You have no idea how many people watching wanted to be there in person.

@@Gamefan86 you’re confusing yourself. That’s the story of Nimrod, Semiramis and Tammuz. That’s the birth of the Mystery Babylonian Religion, what all these other religions stem from. Jesus is literally in the beginning of the Bible, Genesis 1:1. And you can see that be proven in John 1:1. What you’re talking about is much later on in Genesis.

@@Gamefan86 All those claims are not only incorrect but they are acts of fiction. Absolutely none of your outlandish claims have any historical evidence or expert scholars to support them. Anybody can claim just about anything they want but where are the ancient manuscripts or tablets to back up those claims? where are all the papers written up on these claims by scholars experts in ancient history, religions and civilisations?? I'm guessing you just watched a documentary that made all these false claims and you foolishly ran with it, without bothering to verify any of the claims... which just makes you look really intellectually ignorant and dishonest. If you go and study and research all these claims, you will soon discover that not only is there nothing to verify these claims, they are pure fiction. All the expert scholars who specialise in ancient religions of Egypt and India and others, state that not even at a stretch are these claims true nothing supports them. Yet when it comes to the evidence to support the Bible, even secular Biblical scholars who don't believe in Christianity, will confirm to you that the Bible is a real historical account of Jesus and His apostles, that He truly did live in Israel that He taught and had followers and was killed, these are all undisputed historical facts, you can deny if you want but then you are denying verified historical fact. I think you seriously need to update your historical knowledge, especially on ancient history and religious history and their beliefs and practices.

That’s a great point that Stuart made at the end about names that the people of the time of the Gospels being written that could be verified. Either by knowing the person themselves or knowing people that knew of them. Too many times Biblical critics use presentism to present their arguments rather than going back to the time that the NT was written and understanding how they would’ve understood the writings.

@@Gamefan86 Yes I know of this teaching very well...I am well studied. and sorry to tell you but this teaching is mostly wrong. It has hints of truth to it, but actually, its mostly wrong...you have to go back and study others who have found other evidence to show why a lot of it is historic. Don't get me wrong, there are many parts of the bible that are poetic and have different literary style. But actually, there are many well studied NON RELIGIOUS people who consider the bible and its teachings as historic. I think you would agree that it is difficult to get into the details here on comments so I suggest to just go back and study some other people and compare evidence...cause, the truth is that there are lots of studied non Christians and some Atheist even who consider, not all, but a lot of the bible and its teachings historical.

Romans 9:4 Matthew 15:24 even Paul use to be in Judaism converted to The Way (2 Corinthians 11:22) We convert to that faith not the other way around. Every single Author from Scripture guarded the Torah means Teachings Instructions the whole bible is just that. They wore tassels, ate clean, Sabbath keepers, Observed every single biblical feast, why don't Christians follow that same belief system? Yahweh The Most High if Christianity is the true faith/belief Yahweh would of mentioned them from the start (IsaiYAH 46:10

I like the way these men teach, I like the thumbnail as well. When you say who is God I would say the bottom is line is that God is love and man may not fully understand him but with time and being open minded about God can we really see who God is. The Bible is the manual of life but we don't like to consult it in our lives like we should. We are living in the end times and this is how I believe many people will come to know who God really is. @@annastyles6217 The universe had a beginning, so it cannot be infinite in regress, but it has the potential to be infinite in future expansion. God is outside of the universe. EDIT: For clarification, I do not believe that religions have a correct depiciton of God as there are many errors, illogical and unloving teachings in them. I believe God to be a perfectly loving, logical and just being. If anyone is interested, the truth about God can be found at the Divine Truth youtube channel.

@@annastyles6217 your question doesn't seem to make any sense. It appears that you are conflating 'a nature' with 'natural reality'. These aren't the same thing. As Kris pointed out, an infinite natural regress into the past isn't logical. But that wouldn't apply to the concept of God anyway. That makes this question (that you've copied and pasted so many times) incoherent. Can you rationalize what question you REALLY have? It might help.

@@Gamefan86 Wow. That is so false it’s scary. Jesus wasn’t born in Dec according to most scholars, that was a tradition that is not accurate. And the Gospels are not mythological, you have to be sick to think that. They are clearly written as Historical Narrative.

Great patience and grace of this man of God. Interesting how a number of the crowd were so weak that they instantly laughed at the lady's rude, crude, arrogant and attempted offensive display of immaturity. That is incredible,- the weakness of peer pressure to Laugh so quickly and thereby become coworkers in an evil display! This is how Jesus would have been mocked and Crucified.... via one or two initiators of evil creating peer pressure that rippled out quickly, so that the crowds gathered against Jesus Christ who had healed thousands of them and never insisted on anything from them. A 'giving' spirit delivered in the love of God will always meet resistance and bitterness and hatred. Sad yet inevitable, for ... ...Wide is the gate that leads to Hell and MANY willingly walk in through it, but narrow is the gate that leads to Life and FEW there be who find it through willing, sincere, and diligent seeking after the Kingdom of God.
