I feel like Supertramp was severely underappreciated back then, but their music has lived on and the quality of the tunes have held their own in the classic rock world. Great job on the cover.

they were pretty popular in Canada, i remember when i was in my early teens and hearing 'Fools Overture' for the first time at a buddy's place and having my young mind awestruck

At my High School, we had the Southern Rock Crew, & we had the ones who leaned more towards the SuperTramp, L.R.B, Dan Fogelberg, Firefall, & Toto type stuff. All of which blow the doors off of anything the H. S. kids have had going, in the last few decades, and that wasn't even mentioning the Supergroups, already established by then like: Kansas, Styx, Heart, Journey, VH, Queen Stones, Who, & Zeppelin.

I LOVE how he's singing it in a pitch he can sing in as opposed to trying to match Hodgson. Excellent job!

@@muskokamike127 a great cover musician realizes what they can do, and what they shouldn’t do. There is no need to sound exactly like the original. You’re better off doing it the way that sounds best from you and your skill set. It’s very rare that anybody could mimic Rogers voice. Not to mention that the music itself sounds exactly like the original.

I am the type that may love a few songs from a band. I have my favorites. But at my age 67 come on. But these stunningly talented and there is a whole lot of love and care with each song. I don’t think there is a song they couldn’t do. 🙏🙏🙏

Absolutely beautiful harmonies by Vandee and Jessica. LLB's musicality is other-worldly, as is their precision with EVERY sonic detail.

what a delicate, joyous, groovie little jewel this song is. It would uplift sunbathing lizzard. The performance is, as always, unmatched. You guys should do "BLOODY WELL RIGHT" from Supertramp as well. In my opinion, another groovie piece chunk full of music...

LLB has a habit of picking some of the most iconic songs around. Which means the song is popular but also very well known, with very specific arrangements and vocals. This means an occasional miss, not because they lack anything, but because they aim SO high. I love that this is a reflection of Roger’s later solo concert version. Spot on, including the richness of the 12-string. Vocals held up, and the sax nicely done as well. When LLB gets it right, they knock it out of the park. Thanks gang! ❤

I LOVE this band! The musicianship, the vocals, the audio, the video -- I am totally blown away by their total awesomeness! They don't just "cover" these classic songs; they also re-create the originals and make them fresh, new and exciting again. If you guys ever go on tour, please play in Milwaukee, perhaps at Summerfest. I stopped attending Summerfest years ago because of the drunken crowds and the overpriced food and drinks. But even at age 65, I guarantee that if you ever play there, I will (G-d willing!) be in the front row!

Im not ashamed to say...this made me cry, tears of joy and happiness.

Supertramp was one of my "Go To" bands of my youth. When Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies worked together, they were amazing! Wonderful cover. Those high notes are not easy.

This is by FAR their best cover! I love how the guy on the keyboard has evolved (hairstyle). Haha Also am SO jealous of the guy who can play the guitar and ROCK IT on the saxophone. What an incredible video! I listen to it on my BOSE headphones SEVERAL times a week!!!! Can't wait to see these guys in Lexington later this year. INCREDIBLE TALENT.

I remember in 1982 when I had to learn the bass line for this song... I had never noticed the song previously (wasn't what I was into) but after learning the bass line I came away with a lifelong appreciation of Supertramp. its a simple tune but the bassist had a creative excellence to solving each section without just 8th noting the root (it awakened me to creating space and subtle syncopation in the music)

Top tier LLB right here. I'm amazed every time Vandee perfectly covers yet another artist's vocals and I should be used to it by now. And of course great playing by everyone.

Ooooh! One of my favorites! I know every nuance of that song by heart. And there are many. Another ambitious choice. This'll be a fun watch!

Absolutely LOVED this and it made me go back and listen to Supertramp, I band that I love but hadn't listened to in over 20 years. This is the thing that makes me scratch my head about folks like Don Henley who issue copyright strikes on anyone that covers his old Eagles songs, what a shame. Having LLB cover songs like this exposes a younger generation to music they may not have heard before and may make them want to explore that artist.

I found you guys last night around midnight looking for a cover of Boston. I have been truly amazed at the variety of music you cover and the quality at what you produce it. The Purity sounds like a cross between live and Studio and it is excellent. There is not a song that I have heard yet that you have not given an exceptional performance to. Thank you so very much for this Channel and for your efforts

This song is so well known for it's great 12 string feel but the bands brass and wind players are phenomenal.

LLB is a national treasure - and in a league of their own - incomparable quality!
