It's not a parent if they don't have a child

We told our daughter she was adopted as soon as she was able to talk. We didn't want anyone else to tell her and think we covered it up. We were lucky enough to bring her home from the hospital and is the biggest blessing I could have ever hoped for. She is 27 now and has no desire to find her biological parents. I told her she may not have grown under my heart, but she grew in it. If she wants to find them eventually, I'll make sure she gets a good reception or she won't find them. She has been a sweet and level headed girl all her life. I hope other adoptees find what they are looking for. Most times, it's with the parents that adopted them.

Our kids have always known also..Puberty has its challenges and having to hear at 15 that you are adopted will only add to that.. When our son was 14 he had to write an essay about family for school. The first lines were : 'My name is S. I was born in Surinam and was adopted by a loving mother and father..'

If my parents adopt me, I would be happy that they adopted me. I don’t even care if they adopted me or not I will still love them no matter what.😊

This movie actually made me feel emotion! I didn't cry, but y'know, I felt pretty bad and I was very scared of Sabrina's biological mother. I also love how Sabrina's best friend tried to help her, and how lovely her sister is! This movie was a 10/10 for sure. Edit: Look guys, I appreciate the fact that you all enjoyed the movie as much as I did, but there is a minor inconvenience. I am adopted and I knew all along. My parents decided to tell me that when I was 14 and I was crying so much. I wasn't crying because they weren't my biological parents, I was crying because i loved them so much. I was so grateful that they raised me, fed me, clothed me, loved me. I love my parents so much ❤

watching this made me realise how lucky i am. you should always be grateful for what you have and you can see the way the main character realises that she’s so much better off with the family that adopted her. this is such a touching story and it made me cry so much

@@magamingclips2792 like i said it’s a touching story and i don’t really know it’s just i like to fantasise a lot and put myself in other peoples shoes. it’s just so many aspects that you can feel lucky you are not in and feel sympathy for those who are

I'm lucky. My parents told me that I was adopted when I was young. They kept on reminding me, so I wouldn't forget that I have a loving family and that family doesn't require blood, It requires love. It made me accept me being different and I even made other friends who were adopted too. I never hated my parents for putting me up for adoption because I knew that they did it for a reason. I still try to look for them, but I have a family, and nothing will ever replace them. I love this story, and I think a lot of others will relate. thank you Dhar Mann.

This film's acting was so good. it's definitely realistic especially the girl, Sabrina, yelling at her parents to get out or Sabrina's sister telling her to not come back hoping they understand. This is so perfect. Amazing actors and writing
