I felt so bad for the mom as she was being abused by her ungrateful son, cheating husband and an abusive tow truck company. Her mom was a great support for and finally she got a well deserved break with a job. I am glad that she said no to her cheating husband who wanted her back. Great story, script and acting.

This really hit home for me. I was in that phase as the son was, with my mother and did not appreciate a lot when I was younger. Growing up and realizing a lot, has definitely changed my perspectives about my mother and the situation of having separated parents. Seeing how the son blew up about the situation, the mother crying and struggling to keep a child happy let alone herself; it really got to my feelings. Then the end was filled with a happy ending. I love your videos as always, Dhar Mann! It would also be kind of cool if you had produced a movie with your cast, something I would definitely watch!

Listen, the mom in this video was not in the right. She’s framed as “selfless” while also wanting to have a moral code. The son was not blowing up the situation, he gave her an easy way for him to have a gift, and she refused to make any smart moves. When she broke her piggy bank for ONE gift, was what really seals the deal on her bad character. She literally wanted to make her son walk just so she can avoid the secretary. Obviously she’s mad, but if you can make your life, AND your son’s life easier, and you give that up because of your own foolish moral code then that is NOT selflessness and she is most definitely not in the right. There are so many examples of how she could’ve avoided hardship for herself and her son which she gives up, because she’s mad. Not to mention how her moral code makes her entitled and makes her think things should just happen for her for not real reason. Honestly I do NOT think dhar mann should be teaching life lessons for the next generation, the world is going to be doomed.

Some children are too blind to face the reality of what parents are going through just to make their ends meet. Ungrateful kids need to at least open their eyes and see for themselves.

I do have to say that dhar manns team has done better over time, the writing was great. The actors have gotten more skillful, and in general this episode made me feel feelings. 10/10 would do again

ik that many dhar vids have obsolete/dumb msges that anyone knows but this was different. This actually is a nice story. Basically it happend to me, when my mom dumped my dad and just flew to japan to meet another man. But its good to forgive her and i love her with all of my heart. Its good that she understood what mistakes she made, and hey, now is a close friend of my dad.

It's too bad how unappreciative this kid was; the mom was bending over backwards to accomodate him but he kept wanting more and this virtually cost her hundreds of dollars.

I know this is kinda dramatic but during this, I started crying because of how much the mom cared for her son and hiw much she tried and hiw sue went out if the way just to make her own son happy, Thank You dhar mann for posting this videos. Maybe you should stay off the Dhar Mann for a while. This mom, was HORRIBLE. Instead of taking care of her responsibilities that are expected of her to be considered a functioning adult, she instead decides to use her money on a single present that the child didn’t even request. She should’ve used her money to pay off her registration. Instead she wasted her money(TWICE) in order to be the “favorite parent,” If she really was this, “Selfless person.” than she would’ve let the Dad make the child happy. On top of that, she makes things more difficult for herself and her child by refusing help from the cheating Dad. Everyone needs to stop acting like she was a good mom.

@@AdrianPedro-yc2ms While that is true, the mom is still the bigger problem. He made it pretty obvious that he didn’t want the Oculus. His dad has the money for a Ps5(which is what he wanted). But his Mom decides to pick his present simply because she doesn’t want the Dad to look better in the kid’s eyes(This can be attributed to the terrible writing present in every Dhar Mann video, where she’s supposed to not want the Dad to be worse in the kid’s mind but also she makes it clear she want him to).

its not luck, its just life, the most successful people with the best hearts come from low to borderline poverty situations. The middle class usually pretends they have it worse than they do, I watched my mom barely make believes facing eviction, no hot water becuase we need lights, or no lights because we need water. And now her ass about to be in a nice house not having to worry about bills thanks to her kid. And Im gonna make sure all the low class moves up into being comfortable.

That boy is so ungrateful and mean to his mom. She’s doing the best she can do and he’s asking for expensive af things. I will admit I sometimes do resort to my dad for some things but it’s not very often and I don’t hold that dangling over my mom when she can’t buy me something. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have my share of tantrums and even being upset when my mom didn’t buy me something but I always apologized later on especially after realizing how stupid I was. I am very lucky to have the things I do. I really hope there aren’t people that are actually like the kid in this video
