A desperate giraffe mum kicked a hunting lion in the face after it jumped on her baby’s back.
Gift Vukani Masudi and Kool David of Jungle Mara Safaris were leading a tour through the Olare Motoroki Conservancy, Kenya, on February 22 when a lion pride chased some prey right past them.
Dramatic footage shows the lions leap on to the back of the two-day-old giraffe and tackle it to the ground easily.
