Gilbern - The Welsh Car
Gilbern is considered to be the only 'Welsh' car manufacturer. Bearing the red dragon badge, their cars, which are now cult classics, were manufactured near Llantrisant between 1959 and 1974. This clip reports on the building of the Invader Mk3 in at the company's factory in Llantwit Fardre in 1972, and includes an interview with the owner, Michael Leather.

This is great, British cottage industry at it's best! The Invader is one of those cars that was way ahead of it's time styling wise. You just have to look at the other cars on the road to realise how good it looked and still does! Excellent clip!
