The protestors were idiots who did not know they were carrying water for the USSR. We did not know of the Westminster Abbey in the People's Republic I had the misfortune to be born in, but we knew of the Greenham Common Airbase as the government commissioned songs about it under socialism. Trators.
😁😁😁😁😄😆😆😆😅🤣🤣😂😂😄😁😁😁
Those prices!
Where has public decent gone. Weak public

My Welsh parents emigrated to Australia in 1951 with my two siblings after living in the greater London area for some years. I was born after. We children thank our parents for this wonderful life in Australia. We all had a good education, professional careers and bought our houses and land and live in states across Oz and have grandchildren, all leading enjoyable lives. I've visited Wales and wish to do so again but I could never live there. Australia is just too good !
I wonder just how many of these early Escort XR3 carb models are still remaining or on the road.
And how did the me. Know where they lived and or did they know they was from Chicago? Like come on now
ardderchog!
Heinz Curried Beans ... I've heard they are coming back!
I have TTW105W...alive and well 👌
This is my grandparents. My mother is Paula an my daughter Amber commented. My grandparents are no longer with us. Grandad died 1988 at the age of 78, my Nan passed away 2018 at the age of 99, my Uncle David's where abouts back in the late 70's is unknown and my Aunty Linda passed away 2012 aged 60. All the other siblings are alive. After Nans death we still have 4 living genetations. The living families reside in New South Wales and Queensland Australia. Happy to connect with others that may know or knew and are potentially related.
Welsh and Dutch are similar languages that include tongue twisters.

Never said Goodbye ... then after 53 years on my sister told me why .... Sorry MOM.... still here on the Gold Coast .. 55years now with two Aussie son n daughter living in London ....so much water under the Bridge....
I had TTW 111W, I think I saw a glimpse of it.... Loved that car, drove around Europe in it...
Beautiful welsh farm. Unfortunately looks a bit different today since it’s been abandoned and now in a state of disrepair. Sad as it’s also a Heritage listed site
Brilliant fighter
Very droll! Those silly Welsh. Great, more kilts for Scotland!
no one can tell from the film Y Sŵn whether a guy who threatened a hunger strike and never had to go through with it, could have. It's not something that anyone should say in advance they could do: and thankfully so, as it's always a horrible idea. Hunger quality s an overpowering biological drive
Have a bottle of HP on the table 😃
was this Welsh language news show broadcast all over Wales or just on the HTV transmitters serving large welsh speaking populations mainly in the North and west?. What would English speakers get as their news show on HTV Wales?.
It was broadcast all over Wales. English speakers got Report Wales which came on immediately after Y Dydd.
@@stuartbeacham DIOLCH!
Ynol yn y cyfnod pryd allet ti fynd lan at unrhyw berson yn Sir Aberteifi a siarad Cymraeg gyda nhw.
I would try it!
I don’t understand this, all the test drives are “Red” in colour!
So, did these people think that butch Scottish highland men were women when they chucked kilts on? Madness.
“I don't see as many pretty girls as I do back home.”😆😆
Amazing footage, never knew this existed, thank you for posting
The Great Muhammad Ali.
Nothing much has changed really, parts of the Nedd Fechan valley didn't get electricity until 2005. During the Miner's strikes in the 80's UNESCO said child poverty in South Wales was the worst in Europe and with around 70% of housing unfit for human habitation also the lowest standard of living. Cymru Rydd.
Many thanks for showing this video I am a proud owner of the same kind regards .
Muhammad Ali
The answers would have been the same if they had asked if women should wear trousers
Great to hear this in Welsh. Reminds me of my childhood in Wales.
Glywi di ddim lot i Gymraeg lan mynna nawr 😢
the trick is to sprinkle a little pepper on it! MY late dad loved Lava Bread, still available fresh every day in The Mumbles!
This takes me back to when I was a kid in Swansea. I was 12/13. Margaret Thatcher tried to stop the formation of a Welsh language channel. Continuing the bigotry of her fellow English countrymen. Henry VIII outlawed the Welsh language in law. It was not repealed until 1942. To think my father fought for these cu*ts on D day. One thing you can guarantee about the English is that they wear their ignorance with pride.
We in Wales think a kilt is a skirt, it looks absurd just like a Toga would look out of place in modern dress. The Scots can keep it.
English subtitles would be helpful.
Are u Welsh?
got photo of this
Philip is great! I have a copy of his "The Pocket Book of Modern Cookery" pub 1951 - it's my cooking "Bible" Great upload, lots of great memories and excellent quality!

"The ouse is damp, innit mun? We 'avent got no electric no gas or nuffin an I got five kids, see?" That could describe ANYWHERE in valleys, 😆
Rather than mock these people who are clearly impoverished due to the result of post industrial decline, try thinking about all the wealth that was created by their hard work in heavy industry, that wealth did not stay in South Wales, but was taken to England. These people were then just left, they were surplus to demand. As for mocking their accents and poor English diction, they speak a damn sight better than some English people, the cockneys or liverpudlians or geordies. These are genuine, honorable people severely restricted by their abject economic situation. This is the result when Wales in governed from Westminster when no financial investment in made over an extended period.Try reading " the Rape of the Fair Country" by Alexander Cordell. You might be more sympathetic and less insulting.
This probably reflects time and zeitgeist more than national opinion in perpetuity. Btw: I am Swedish and wear kilts even in the winter. We do have national costumes but that doesent stop me from appriciating the kilt and tartan.
