axomaticmicha the body is one full piece of fibreglass, sprung over the chassis. nye on impossible to do a body off restoration
My 78yr old father has one of these mk3s sitting in the garage wasting away since it developed an ignition fault in 2001and I've told him to sell it time after time as he's never going to do anything with it but he keeps on saying that he'll get around to fixing it but I know full well that he won't which is a crying shame.
a car that age should of been sand blasted too!
apmirkin its a shame the entire body is crafted from fibreglass really isnt it....
what a botch! enginebay not painted, engine totally dirty from sprayjob. old messy wiring loom...body not split from chassis, which is pressumerably rusty.
