I want to get a water cooled gtx 1080 ti whenever the water blocks come out. Should I just water cool the reference card or wait till a water block for something like the 1080 ti Aorus? Would there be a performance difference at all? Kinda confused about this.

Did you get the Xtreme Edition? I have the regular 1080ti Aorus can't quite make it past 2.0ghz boost. Also 150% power target? The regular Aorus only gets 125% :( Should have forked out the extra 20 bux for the Xtreme.

Hello, owning a case that has horizontional GPU potition like the one you have for the video, but you dont use it. Is the GPU too big to place it like that and the Mobo slot is the only option?

hey, i've got the 1080ti gigabyte n108taorus-11Gd ] 11gb ill occasionally get a BSOD video scheduler internal error from the card, but was able to run an entire time spy test without an issue. once in a while i'll get a pixleated display that will crash the driver making a reinstalled driver/or device noise.. then getting my display back.. any idea whats going on with it?

Can you clarify if this is the Xtreme version or the "standard" version. Both have the same cooler? Your NewEgg screen shot showed the Xtreme version.

i thought the performance would be better to be honest. i overclocked my msi gtx 1080 armor to a solid 2050 under heavy load. i just enabled game boost in my bios as i struggled to keep my intel i7 7700k at a stable 5ghz without crashing on certain games. any tips would be greatly appreciated? also is 2050 ghz good for the card i have or could i get more out of it?

I've got a problem with my 1080 TI Aorus xtreme edition . It's unstable and crashing every 5 to 10 minutes while playing any game.oc mode and game mode,I tried almost everything new driver ,bios even RAM ,PSU1000w I've tried it on another PC but still have the same problem. It seems a manufacturer problem as i saw while surfing the internet searching for technical solutions. any help?

I previously had a regular 1080ti oc extreme, without the backplate then it broke down. Gigabyte sent me the Aorus extreme as a replacement and WOW does it rock compared to the previous one. Temps do not go over 64 degrees while gaming and while OC'd to 1987 core. Silky smooth gaming!

Bro with stock profiles my temps go to 84°C but when I make fan to full load then it comes 64°C... Is this normal?

What a deal 50 extra bucks for better cooling, rgb and a binned gpu - toss on top of that higher power targets and better power delivery it's a no brainer. I'll be picking this one up.

It has a quadrupled 3-phase VRM though. You read that right. 3 PHASE. But I guess it doesn't really affect oc on Pascal seeing nothing does. Also that voltage unlock is just the usual Pascal limited 1.093v its a "100% voltage increase" not 100mv.

Is there a programme which will test and tell you what maximum settings to put on your GPU and CPU for OC? If so is it included? I have never attempted OC before so with so many settings plus the extra voltage control on this card I am completely clueless on what GPU and CPU OC settings to have. It was a 4-10 fps difference... at 4K... compared to an overclocked FE with an aftermarket cooler. That is a very big difference.

its hard to know if the gaming benches were vs his aftermkaret cooled fe or stock fe cooler on the Fe card

why not use the strix ti?

Is this card still a good upgrade over a 1060 GTX 3GB or should I look to a 2060 Super or something in that range?
