This was helpful. At first I tried updating it from the server. That didn't work, but then I chose the file and everything was cool. It updated the start up image, so I'm going to miss it.

at 6:22 how did you chagne the profile for the memory from auto to profile 1? Thats the issue im having.

Thanks for the help butI wasn't asking that. I found it for myself that it doesnt allow you to go above 1600 if you dont have higher end memory with those profile options. On the other hand - a Z77 would let me go as far as ~ 1866 at CL9.

I think it is generally a good idea to go into bios and load optimized defaults before running as well right? I've only flashed two bios's before, both within windows..so I'm no expert.

Any idea how to enable RAID boot on this MB? I have installed a Raid PCI card and cannot get the boot menu to display. usually there is a setting in the BIOS for Enable Raid Boot which would display this menu.

Im having trouble with this Motherboard while trying to re install windows 7 i hit the restart button to get ready to install and then my mouse and keyboard stop working they are plugged into 2.0 ports but it just doesn't work i've gone into BIOS to see if it was disabled but the 2.0 option isn't even there for me and i see at 6:10 you have a option USB2.0 Controller i don't have that rip

I don't have a gigabyte folder in the start menu and in general can't find out how to start up @bios. Any help would be appreciated.

no you can go higher than that, but in certain dividers. 1866 should be fine.

Wait, so I got the 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1866MHz Dual Channel Memory Corsair Vengeance. Can I get it to that speed? I thought the highest you could go on this motherboard was 1600MHz.

This motherboard has a UEFI BIOS, just like the one u recorded. It does not detect my (CD-ROM) in the boot options. I'm thinking maybe i didn't plug it in right..... But thats not the case.... I have a new gaming pc and when I go to install windows to the pc I load the bios then I insert the windows 7 cd then boot the computer to that optical drive it tells me to Reboot and find a proper boot device. Can I please have some help suggestions? anyone?

what CPU? Check Intel's site for your CPU, if it says 1600 then it can do 1600, it depends on your CPU.

I want to do a clean install of windows 10 on my new ssd. Would windows 10 work on my Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H without me updating my bios? would it work with the R.31 driver (for windows 10) or will it not work with windows 10 at all?

My computer automatically had this bios and I have just put in a new graphics card and when I plug the hdmi in the graphics card the screen is blank and can't connect and I've searched and it says I need to go on bios and switch something to psi but the examples are different bios and I can't find it in this one where do I find it in this version so my computer uses my new graphics card instead of the original. Can Anybody provide help?

Will Smith There should be a setting under chipset settings or peripherals called INIT Display First(or somthing close to it) You need to set this to the PCI-E slot the GPU is plugged in. Is your other GPU still installed?

it was F14 when i did update to F15 my pc reboot so slow and my new GPU keep lag i ask some ppl they say romove the update . plz should i back to F14 using the bios update and downlead the f14 vesion ?

+Mr Robot Yea just do the same thing you did to get to F15 from F14 to go from F15 to F14. After every BIOS flash you should shut down the computer, unplug the 24-pin power, and clear the CMOS, then power back up go into the BIOS then "load optimized defaults" and then save and restart and then do what you want. That is the healthiest way to do it. Just make sure that BIOS flashing was successful before shutting down the system, don't shut down in the middle of a flash.

I have this motherboard it cant overclock for shit... also my ram isn't running on 1600 Mhz because of some processor bullshit I have the i5 2500 and its using 32nm technology and apparently they want me to use a 22-24nm to use my god damn ram on full speed. You gotta be joking...

I got this motherboard a week ago and FYI , you can't overclock processors using this board. A total rip off!!
