I agree that love bombing can come in the form of being overly giving. But it can also come in the form of someone being overly loving towards you. Physically and emotionally just over the top. ie. My ex, when we first got together, he did things like make sure to call me or come and visit me on his lunch break. He did all the sweet things that a woman would want. Then once I thought that's who he was, he snatched it all away. D what love bombing is , honestly is circumstantial. I'm married now and my husband gave me gifts and things all the time when we first got together. We've been married 8yrs now. So from my experience I would not think gift giving early on is a red flag.

Idk, I will always look at a man very suspiciously if he's giving me gifts right after the first date...especially pricey gifts. I'm not talking about once yall start dating. I'm referring to still in the talking, getting to know one another stage. Right after the first date. It's weird and unauthentic to me.

@@abundantambiance991 So , I'm not saying that it isn't something to consider when a man is overly giving.... But my experience has been the exact opposite. Gifting is materialistic. I think it better that a man overly gift and then stop , rather than a man be head over hills for me playing on actual emotion, and then turn into a different person.
