It's a sad situation all the around. Men need to hold other men and boys accountable for their actions and also knowing when to stand up for a woman. They have to learn how to take rejection in order to operate in today's society. Not every opportunity is going to be a "Yes" and not to mention it will lead to what is eventually going to say what they want to hear. It's so disheartening to see that the guys standing around is not physically protecting her or defending her. At least if they did not want to put themselves in harms way offer to call police or have an ambulance sent to have her taken to the emergency room. Now she spent 10+ hours at the ER and going home with a huge hospital bill that she should not be responsible for and having to work through pain even though the doctor may have given her pain meds and she can't even rest properly before she goes back to work which may or may not cause even more damage. This guy is definitely gonna get what is coming to him.

No, she didn't. There has been recent updates where the attacker came forward and was bragging about it. She also did an interview with NBC. Do your research

How would you look at one situation and draw a generalisation. How about you actually question the situation and talk about the situation, for example are you lumping in your father or brother into the generalisation you are making? did your father hurt your mother? do your male cousins treat women like shit? and this is just looking at your immediate family, where are the people making generalisations from their positive experiences, are you truly saying anything without taking this into account. All these generalisation does not help only feeds the divisive narative. If you hang around in back streets try areas you can't be suprised by back street behaviour from the people around, how about you speak to women about how make decisions of were to move and how to move when in back street type places. A man in a church event will not smack a brick into your face, he might linger longer if he don't read you subtle not interested signed but he will not smach a brick into your face. Also a man in a back street environment knows when to mind his business, this is how they survive in those environment. As an experiement, ask your younger brother how risky he would see the idea of stepping up regardly of if he would step up or not? A man recently got killed in front of his child by doing that. I bet you all the men in a church gathering will rush to help if this happen. There is a more inteligent way to have a converstaion around this and I feel this is not it.

What generalization am I making? Please analyze the video before you yourself make generalized statements. Look closely at the video, she looks like she's standing where the car park is next to a building. She does not look like she's just "hanging out" in a back street. You speak of to teach woman were and how to move, when I literally gave you an example where a female was shot at on the side of the street in the open in broad daylight. Unfortunately, these days these actions do not happen have to happen in back alleys anymore. Females are a target anytime, anywhere. Please do not say a man in a church event will not do such acts. You never know who truly follows their religion or who just goes with the motions. Be cautious with every single person; church goer or not. Last, stepping up does not have to be talking to the abuser. Someone could anonymously tip the cop on who did it, because I'm pretty sure someone standing there may have known the man if he's from that area. Hell, even getting a license plate number before driving off. These are the kind of things females think about, but of course, amongst black people, we tend to keep quiet and not take things like this to the authorities.
