The field is 2000 feet higher than coors. That’s why there were so many.

Wow what an insane game! 11 homeruns combined😮 that’s crazy. Also any time when tatis Soto machado and bogaerts hit a homer in the same game all of them that’s gonna be the most exciting game 💯 I’m not even a padres fan but the padres are fun to watch just bc of those 4. I’m so happy tatis is back he’s got the best swagger in the sport for sure
Promotional games like the field of dreams and Mexico city series have been so fun to watch. I would love to see more such series and I'm sure London Series is gonna be just as amazing. Best way to promote the game ❤️

You won't see that type of hitting when they come back since it's the elevation that made the balls carry

@@0524cami u can only feasibly say that about nando's homer as well as the second machado homer. Soto, bogey, machado's first, and cruz tore the cover off their balls and at minimum would have had XBH's if not homers. Aka coors field but a little more amplified. Good pitching still reigns supreme which is why nick martinez closed 2 innings spotlessly

@@erikletendre7512 maybe some of those would’ve dropped as XBH but there’s a reason the over/under was 15.5 when it’s usually 6.5-9.5 for a regular game.

Elevation in Mexico City is over 2,000 feet higher then coors field. So I mean it’s kinda expected but it was cool

When Vegas set the over/under at 15.5 runs, you knew it was gonna go over and tons of runs would be scored. This was my biggest bet of the day. I won $1000 on this game knowing they would easily combine for over 15.5 runs. Betting baseball is so damn fun and easy

Been in Mexico City the past few weeks. Only found out about this game a few days before. Had no idea. Kicking myself I didn't get tickets as it was already sold out.

Baseball it’s even bigger than soccer in Mexico city ( soccer it’s bigger in the north, Monterrey for example)

This SD team no doubt will be in the playoffs when it's all said and done. Lineup is extremely strong and they will get it going. Those jerseys look like Nickelodeon jerseys with all those colors lol. Congrats on the win SD 👍.

@@DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants you can’t make any sort of conclusion on pitching based on these games in Mexico City. The stadium is at 7500 feet above sea level, and the outfield walls are too short/close. Also, preller will 100% trade for premium pitchers at the deadline for the playoff push.

That was a fun game to watch but my one complaint was...I don't know who it was I think a Padres fan...but that guy who was shouting loudly throughout the game needed to SHUT UP. Dios mío! At one point I haded to mute my TV.

Every sport Actually! Argentina (Maradona ‘80) and brasil (Pelé ‘70) won a soccer world championship in Mexico City because of elevation! Thats crazy

Football score. San Francisco 49ers of Santa Clara County - 11 (1 touchdown, 1 two-point conversion, 1 field goal) San Diego Fleet - 16 (1 touchdown, 1 extra point, 3 field goals) PS - In the interest of fairness, I wish the Giants sacrificed one of their home games against the Padres instead of the latter sacrificing two. At least MLB has done a better job with choosing neutral site match-ups (all divisional since the late 2000's) unlike the other three sports.
