Japan vs Mexico | LLWS Elimination Game | 2023 LLWS Highlights

Japan and Mexico played an elimination game in the 2023 Little League World Series. The winner would advance to play Curacao in another elimination game that would determine who faces Chinese Taipei in the International Championship Game on Saturday.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

The best part of my work as a KZreadr is being able to provide coverage of sports that may not receive as much attention as they should to the large audience I have built over the years. Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other KZreadrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

My favorite thing about Japan, is the respect. They always place the ball next to the rubber for the opposing pitcher.

@@henryreza8291 all the pitches he threw in the highlights were pretty wild. doubt he's trying to hurt the other kid and is just not that great of a pitcher, there have been a lot of head shots in this llws

@@wallapee true. I just thought it was too much of a coincidence that it happened to be the first baseman right after that race for first base. He did hit another kid in the same inning so you may be right.

These young Mexican kids are naturally good at baseball, the way they play is outstanding. My respects to the Japan team as well, they played good.

@@moco389 well since playing tennis I now understand how this is a distraction and a hindrance. Obviously each beamed batter was because of this as well a multiple walks. No respect.

Good game. Mexico improved their pitching and defense against Japan.
I have been a baseball fan all my life. Born and raised Dominican. I have to say that the center fielder for Mexico has a future in this game. If he continue playing, he will be playing pro.

The amount of respect Japan has is unmatched with the hats off when hit by pitch and placing the ball right next to the runner❤

The heckling of the Japan pitcher when he does his hitch by the Mexico fans was below expectations. It's always a shame when adults try and intimidate kids.

@@KoniDemiko-yy3pn Yup I’ve been complaining about that this whole series too 😂 All of The catchers frame work are atrocious (obviously they’re 12) but the umpires seem to call strikes wherever the catcher frames it I saw a ball the other day that was on the white line of the other batter’s box on the outside and he called it a strike I was like WTF!!

SPOILER . . . Mexico lost twice to Japan in 2010. In 2011 they won in W bracket and lost in Int championship. Since then they have lost 9 more times: Twice in 2013, once in 2014, twice in 2015, once in 2017, 2019 and the first game this 2023. That's a 1-12 record, including 12 years without a victory. This is a special victory for mexicans which started watching LLWS recently. Vamos México!

Announcers never seem to realize that the reason kids crowd the plate at this age is that they have to hit balls a while foot outside with smaller bats some of these “strikes” are unhittable otherwise
