Lovable guy,, we all remember Wilmer for breaking down when found out he got traded to the Brewers, but ended up staying with the Mets, bruh

I was there and the whole atmosphere was hyped up once the Mets made that final comeback! I couldn't stop screaming 🤣

I was at this game. You wouldn’t know the Mets were below 500 by 8 games. The crowd was loud.

This was a weird week for the Giants... Every game against the Pirates and Mets that they trailed, they ended up coming back and winning. And the 2 games they were winning nearly the whole time they ended up losing. It all seems to even out in the end

Not a Mets fan, but that was a nice comeback. Gotta love Harrison Bader. Fun player.

As a Cardinals fan, I miss Bader. So often this season, StL outfielders seem clueless with a ball hit to the wall. Edmonds knew how to handle it and so does Bader. He has speed, a good arm, a great glove and a bit of pop in his bat. Fun player indeed.

This is what happens when you try to have Tyler Rogers as your closer. Normally he is good for 2 outs and then struggles to get the third in low to medium leverage spots. In high leverage the dude chokes as shown here. He's not bad in the pen. But he is not, and will never be excellent. Meaning he is not closer material.

Good game

I was at the game! The base hits really got the crowd going in that last inning. I remembered watching the ball fly over the shortstop’s head for Narvaez’s walk off hit. I had a great time and hope that the Mets will actually win in the future! 😂

The signs were there, screaming. The pitcher should have been removed after the first hit in the 9th. Rodgers record should have told the mgr. In this case I don't blame the pitcher for the loss, I blame the mgr. He stood there and let him do it. Bochie would taken Rogers out after the first hit. Manage the game, not someone's emotions

A pitcher now has to face three batters; the rule has been in place for several years. Rogers could have been removed when it was first and second, one out, with SF still up by two.

If the Mets trade Alonzo they are nuts he’s the face of the franchise they need to resign him ASAP

Rogers is one of those reliefs that the minute someone gets a knock off them, you need to pull them out.

9th inning closing: two singles, a hit batsman, a double, an intentional walk, a walk-off hit. That surely closed things. smh

The Mets had two possibilities: lose the series or get swept. Celebrations seem a little incongruous…

It seems like the better Logan Webb pitches, the more likely it is the Giants will figure out how to lose.

That Last pitcher for the Giants is terrible, underarms pitches with no movement so all the batter has to do is wait on the flight of the ball to get a hit every time. How is he even in the team?

Bob "I don't believe in statistics" Melvin batted Chapman, who struggles against righties, ahead of Wade, more than once. And why would you leave an ineffective Tylef to face a left handed bater? Starting pitching has nothing to do with his inability to manage...
