This is one of the reasons I relate to him... I'm also an only child so I got used to my time alone and now enjoy it and use it to recharge from being extremely friendly in social situations. It's good to take time alone to be introspective too, some people definitely don't take that time. ✌️✌️

Mav is literally so wholesome and nice to people, imagine an entire world with people just like him being friendly and funny.

I miss fishing. I used to fish with my dad every summer but last summer we weren’t able to get out because we were both working so much and now he’s partially wheelchair bound so I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to again. I hope we can find a way to get out to the river and start fishing this summer. It serves a good lesson to be grateful for what you can do especially with parents. Keep trucking Mav.

It makes me mad how easily Mav can make friends 🤣 you can tell how amazingly he treats his new friend with the food he serves!

I know people who are avid Cooks that are afraid to cook risotto from scratch. Good on you! Since it was so cold out maybe you could have put a stick in that bread and heated it up over the fire. I bet if you would have warm the bread and had your Rosemary you would have had a 10 out of 10 meal. Congrats to whoever sent in the recipe. Congrats on finding a new fishing hole!! 👏👏

We haven't had much snow or rain this season. Creeks and rivers might be kind of low. Had a huge snow storm this past weekend that dropped about 16" in the high country. Our reservoirs sure need the supply. Good luck!

I agree seen Mav's video a while ago. Then watched his older videos which also led me the the AP days. I have watched Mav since and he had responded to my early emails, which was nice of him. Also I have watched AP's latest videos which seem to be after he took a break from his first fishing videos, now came back and seemed to be in a new phase of life. Kind of understand and respect him now. Mav gives us a good view into his life as much as possible. Keep On Truckin....

I hope I run into Mav one day so he can cook for me 😂 Everything he makes looks so good!

Just bought my first fishing rod today. Mav, you inspire me and many others to step out of our comfort zone and enjoy life to the fullest.

That was amazing you meet them two guys & they invited you to go fishing with them it’s all about the adventure & a plus to be around cool/good people. To enjoy the fishing and nature and the food you cooked looked phenomenal as usual.

Mavs a super cool dude and considering he's an Introvert, he's great company when he chooses to mingle with people.

With your risotto, you want to gradually add in your stock. If you have a smaller pot keep it hot next to your rice. Add you stock once per ladle, stir and let it absorb. Do that until all your stock is absorbed and the add your parm. You will get a super creamy dish.

As a mother I'm screaming "nooooooo Mav don't go with strangers". I grew up on the NE shore of Lake Ontario. I (at 16) got my first car/vehicle. It was a Ford F-150 with cap and outfitted with electric (in the bed) and had a couch-bed/bedding, basic fishing gear, cooler, and a behind seat gun rack. That was 1994. My Pops gave me the truck, (his from new) but made me work for 2 years (making payments) from 14-16. This content is VERY familiar to me as well as personal. I spent multiple summers as a late-teen, living out of the truck, traveling (Grateful Dead Shows mostly,) And simply experiencing life and growing up. Anyway Mav, we grew up similar and I love your content. I understand your content. Keep it up, your great at this!

Ever since starting my channel I’ve wanted to visit Canada! Mainly Vancouver Jasper whistler Banff etc and I think Canadians might be the friendliest people in the world! I can’t wait to make a trip and film some content in Canada

Love watching your videos. My daughter went crazy over the VW camper. For a cooking idea; have you ever heard of a cataplana? It was originally used by fishermen and hunters to cook their catch over a fire. They packed the herbs, onion, potatoes and accompanying veggies in it for easy carrying. I'm not sure if they are only found in southern Portugal but it may be something for you to try. I have one for a stovetop and I love it. If you get one I'd be happy to share some recipes. Keep on truckin'!
