Creek Side TROUT CATCH and COOK
Спорт
I did a creek side TROUT CATCH and COOK! I went searching for a trout at one of my favorite creeks. After about 10 minutes of fishing I caught a nice trout. I cleaned it, cooked it and ate it right beside the creek. I had a lot of fun doing this trout catch and cook! It was delicious. Let me know if you would like to see more catch and cook videos!

I agree! The trout cheek is considered a delicacy. You loose a lot of meat with a fillet. Trout is one fish you leave the skin on. This one was big for the pan so a filet may have worked out better. Cook over a fire and save money and gear. Gut/clean on a nice flat rock.

That's awesome. You did it. Surprised you hit it with flour, nice job. A little more oil at a hotter temp to start if you're gonna cook that much fish in a small pan all at once. That was about the fastest you could catch a fish, fillet it and eat it that's ever been done. Think on that. When it gets warmer, do it again. Brown trout imo is tastier than rainbow, I have yet to eat a wild brookie and that is one of my goals this year.

Thanks Scott! It was pretty quick :) I have not ate a wild brown. Maybe someday. I haven't ate a native brookie either. Might have to go on my to-do list!
