Creek Side TROUT CATCH and COOK

Спорт

I did a creek side TROUT CATCH and COOK! I went searching for a trout at one of my favorite creeks. After about 10 minutes of fishing I caught a nice trout. I cleaned it, cooked it and ate it right beside the creek. I had a lot of fun doing this trout catch and cook! It was delicious. Let me know if you would like to see more catch and cook videos!

That's awesome. You did it. Surprised you hit it with flour, nice job. A little more oil at a hotter temp to start if you're gonna cook that much fish in a small pan all at once. That was about the fastest you could catch a fish, fillet it and eat it that's ever been done. Think on that. When it gets warmer, do it again. Brown trout imo is tastier than rainbow, I have yet to eat a wild brookie and that is one of my goals this year.

Thanks Scott! It was pretty quick :) I have not ate a wild brown. Maybe someday. I haven't ate a native brookie either. Might have to go on my to-do list!

Little advice, such a fresh and good fish cook it over the fire without anything but salt, when it’s finished, spring little lemon juice on top and blast!

I love catch and cooks, please do more. Maybe some brookies? I like to do a 50/50 mix of cornmeal/flour for added crunch. Sometimes I wish I had things on film, like when I pulled a 12lb stocked rainbow from a local lake on my 6' ul premier rod on Friday, 2lb test. Got photos, though!

Also other pro tip -- when frying w/ olive oil, a pan sear is the best to expect, it's a low smoke point oil. Use avocado or coconut for heat like frying nuggets.
