"He's mild-mannered toward others, always letting other pandas go first." A true gentleman.
The san diego zoo is very high on conservation efforts and has done a lot of positive work for endangered species as well as using positive reinforcement to train animals and not forcing them to do things they don't want to do. If you're looking to support a zoo, I suggest you do your own research of course, but this one is an excellent one to support.

I agree! I think there are many zoos in the world that host pandas are largely doing it to make money. San Diego stands apart. I'm sure they make money off of pandas. But they are also highly respected scientists.

Wow can't wait to see them at their new home
Can’t wait to see them.
I first learned about the news since March this year, from a church member who volunteer at the zoo. In June, i was at a job fair, SD zoo recruiter mentioned that they will be in SD by July. It's why they are hiring extra food court workers in anticipation of increasing numbers of visitors. They are getting their bamboos from the SD safari Park nearby. The ticket is so expensive, it feels like you 'll need a loan just to visit. Luckily I got to see the pair of Pandas 🐼🐼 in DC National Zoo for free in April last year, not knowing that they were leaving in September. The pandas eat like a human! Dividing the bamboos into smaller sections before chewing down!😅
❤❤ 🐼
