Make sure you stay well hydrated! It is a tricky thing. Gatorade is pretty thick which makes it harder for your system to absorb. If you want to dilute it, use club soda. The carbonation makes it easier for you to absorb. Me, if I was there in that heat, I would need 2 to 3 gallons of fluids, and I wouldn't have to pee.... You need salt which is the first electrolyte to deplete on just about every one. If you start cramping, time to go home, and continue taking in electrolytes so you don't wake up at night with cramps. Hate that.....

Hey, Payton just wanted to say congratulations on the verified check I noticed that a week ago. Loving the weird bait videos as always and also love that you showed the softshell turtle because they are really cool but when they aren't what you want to catch you look past them. My first guess on the eels price per pound was going to be $30 but as I've scrolled through the comments I see that I was a little high on the price. The last thing is I finally uploaded a video on my channel and I know I said I would a long time ago but what do you put for the category of the video when uploading? I put it as entertainment but I could see how it could be "Animals & Pets", "Science & Technology", or "Education". Just wanted to see if you had any clue what works and even for keywords of the channel in the settings. Just to ask, you can use eel in Houston Texas legally as bait? And if so, what store did you get it at? I live in Fresno Texas and I’ve been wanting to try it out for catfishing.

Well, the only guidelines I think you'll have to consider is that because they are a foreign species (if you use the ones I have, which are conger eels) you'll have to gut them before use and only use them dead. Considering they cost about $20 per pound, there's not really any advantage to using them ( unless you're making a KZread video and need a good title and thumbnail) My best luck for catfish in Houston has always been big live bluegill

I know it’s one more thing to carry but have you considered using a portable fan. I have a Ryobi with a battery that lasts 8 hours on high. Easily fits in a backpack. It might be able to cool you a little bit, helping the sweat to evaporate. It’s one more thing to carry though as you trudge to get to where you’re going.

We don't have any kind of food like that here. I live in a small town. But I'll guess $40. LOL I started watching you because my creek where I fished for large mouth bass is now full of alligator gar. I never saw them there when I was younger so I thought maybe the gar had cleared out all of them. Listening to you I now have respect for them and figure maybe it's not their fault my large mouth bass are gone. Even the carp are gone. But the alligator gars are thriving.
