Just wanted to clarify something you said in the video about smaller vs "monster" sized RC aircraft (helis too!). The larger they are, the EASIER they are to fly. One shouldn't let the size intimidate them. It's like riding a bicycle down the road and having a semi-truck pass you. On a bicycle, the wake from that truck are going to blow you all around. However, if you were on a Harley Fat Boy, those winds would affect you less. Same with larger planes/helis. The larger and heavier, the less little gusts and breezes affect their stability! Great video, and YES, everyone should LOVE the Ju-87 Stuka, it's the German A-10!

This is the best model you guys have ever done! The monster Corsair & Zero were fantastic, but the Stuka takes it to a whole new level! Please, if it’s at all possible, market these 3 “monster” size airplanes as kits, even if they would necessarily be more complex, requiring skills and technical expertise of long-time builders. I’ve been building balsa kits for over 40 years, which is why I’ve never bothered to purchase any of your previous models, believing they would be “too easy”. However, these models are something I would be proud to show off at my local flying field! Great job to all involved - keep ‘em flying!

OUTSTANDING! By a weird coincidence just a few days ago I found a complete AIRFIX 1 : 48 scale model kit Ju 87-2 at a thrift store for only $2.00 and I had a blast building it! If there is ANY way your bomb/trapeeze upgrade can include the bomber's window in the floor, that would be rad! When I completed my model, I could hold it up to a light, look under it, just behind the engine, through the cockpit and see the light through the canopy! That really gave me a new way of understanding the aircraft and how the pilot aimed by looking down between his feet. I love your videos and a dream of mine is to build and fly one someday xD

Do your research and try to maximize your performance per dollar for the games you want to play. Don't try to make a future proof machine, even the best will be obsolete in 5 years. I'm waiting for VR requirements to stabilize so I can build a VR flight sim machine myself. If you want to fly on that Chromebook check out FlightGear. It will probably run on low settings. It's free and has very realistic airplane handling. I've flown the real and simulated 172 and can say hours doing touch-and-gos in FlightGear are well spent! Also if you like quadcopters try out the demo of FPVFreerider (original, not recharged). It will run on a potato and I improved my quad skills so much with this $5 sim.

Not to hate but. “Working on one you’ve been holding back since last... crazy build day” 100% false because we all know he just busted them out as fast as he could after 13th Squadron released the Stukas Jack built so John could get the spotlight. I love the stuff FT and John build but this has happened with many other designs that young builders work really hard to make these designs and then Jon just bangs them out within 2 days and steals the glory. It has become a little suspicious, and it’s just flat out wrong.

Thank you Thank you Thank you! But if you're going to do the Stuka you have to build the Ju86g model. If you can find it you need to read the book "Stuka Pilot" written by Hans-Ulrich Rudel. He was probably the most iconic german pilot and the most decorated from WWII. They ran out of awards to give him and had to make a new award just for him. The Ju86g model was built with 2 20mm flak cannons and was made for taking out tanks as its primary objective. During the design of the A10 Thunderbolt(Warthog) he was even consulted. Now I don't know if he suggested anything that was actually used on the A10 but still the fact that he was brought in as a consultant just goes to show how impressive his reputation was.

I think the stuka is a pretty ”scary” plane because of the siren, it’s insane accuracy and it’s power (and that’s why it’s one of my favourite planes) So i thought that the scene at 17:28 was pretty cool/scary.

BTW, the tail gun on the Junkers 87 was usually a 7.92 mm machine gun. Not a "big machine gun" by anyone's standard. Plus the mags were small and ran out fast. Imagine being a tail gunner on a lumbering Junkers 87 with two agile Hurricanes chasing you, sixteen .303 machine guns against your one little gun. Posthumous Iron Cross, here we come!

How to Stuka: 1. Gain altitude of 10,000 feet 2. Once you are over your target, roll and dive. 3. Once you are at 500-1000 feet release payload and pull up. 4. Profit.
