GIANT 800 LB Marlin!! Deep Sea Fishing in Hawaii
We had a crazy day catching a Giant Blue Marlin fishing offshore Honolulu, Hawaii. Ended up being the biggest fish I've ever caught!

Thanks Mark, It was awesome day and awesome fish
Braddah Wil - You knew it was a big fish, when the reel keep screaming, dumping more than half the line, and you had to chase down the fish twice and then backdown on it for a 1/2 hour. Awesome the Wild Bunch - Capt. Mike kokua in getting the fish in the boat. 835 lbs of dead weight is hard to move. Too bad it was tail wrapped as it would have been great to release it to become a grander. Congratulation on the hookup!

Thanks man. Ya Wild Bunch guys Mike and Jerry went out of their way and did us a huge favor helping us pull it on board so we didn't have to drag it. Really awesome of them. Thanks again

Wow. could tell you were at a loss for words by the ride in. i couldn't believe those runs it was making...... any fisherman knows that kind of presure on a 130 is no joke. respect for keeping that fished iced down till the morning. No easy task moving and handling that fish and is a group effort when they are that big.
Here in Brazil Ricardo Amorim caught a grander using similar thecnics with a Moldcraft chucker backing one Moldcraft planner . Seens it is still working good . Awesome catch pal , congratulations from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil .

@@markmearns8942 don't mind at all. Its been extremely productive for us lately
Will, my buddy and I fished with you on the Whipsaw back in January of 2020, you were deckhanding at that time. I recall having 4 striped marlin on at one time and then hooking another 2, plus we landed a giant travale that day. If you remember when we were leaving the harbor in the morning we saw the UFO, not sure if you remember that?

Hey Kevin, yes i remember i'm pretty sure we were 3 for 8 on striped marlin that day and did have four on at the same time at one point. We had some pretty terrible conditions on the way home too

@@willdoeshawaii It's funny how fishermen remember those kinds of details. Ask them what they had for dinner last night and you get a blank look, but they know exactly what bait was on each rod that day, even how the hooks were positioned.
Awesome job. Biggest marlin on boat i bet. Don and i had a grander on in Waianae before he started charter. Took everything before we could even clear lines. After everything was gone he jumped off the starboard side and i thought it was a whale. Made us sick but made for some great memories. Go get um. Thx. Craig.

I had something similar on Ku'u Huapala in Kewalo. It took the long center with only a small swirl and there were only 5 baits in the water, which means 4 to clear but we were running all of them long that day. Just as I pulled the last bait out of the water she reached the knot. The rod bent so far I thought it would break, and then "BAAAAAAAAAAM!" Line, lure and fish gone. Never jumped even once.
What was the scar that it had in its side?
Where are you located?
What did it end up bringing in for money? Please comment back thank you
