Is there a fish processing place that a person can use to ship home their fish? I want to fish but will be on a cruise ship there in Port in february so no way to cook/keep fish.

Hey Will, if you can make it out to the banks we had 6 Ono strikes today (landed 3) and a 8 lb Kawakawa. 2 of the Onos were 35+, one 25lb. Big ones bit right at slack tide. Biting salmon, black/orange and blue silver. Not sure if you remember me commenting about a month ago but we have a 33 Grady White that we fish out of Ala Wai. We are weekend warriors but thought I’d pass this on hoping it will help you with your charters. Best of luck!

Hey Will, if you can make it out to the banks we had 6 Ono strikes today (landed 3) and a 8 lb Kawakawa. 2 of the Onos were 35+, one 25lb. Big ones bit right at slack tide. Biting salmon, black/orange and blue silver. Not sure if you remember me commenting about a month ago but we have a 33 Grady White that we fish out of Ala Wai. We are weekend warriors but thought I’d pass this on hoping it will help you with your charters. Best of luck!

Are we allowed to keep the fish we catch? I have found most charters in Hawaii won't allow you to keep more than a fillet or 2.
I know they are tourist but dang that big gear is a lil over board.for that size fish.. 😂
Cause can be catching 15 lb mahi and then have a 300lb marlin take the same lure 30 mins later, and suddenly the gear doesn't seem so overkill

Usually set around 20 lbs. Flashabou is a thin tinsel material. Great shine and action. Both work great
We chartered the whipsaw during spring break. Will and his crew were great. Couple bull mahis and some smaller ones we caught
