I get very emotional when I see a player defend a teammate. Particularly when they do it at great risk to their vehicle.

@@user-cb3oq5sy2s Heatfs coming from 1km away coming from between bushes behind some hill. That is when you realize War Thunder becomes a game of who rushes what position or behind which hill first and who can lob their sht in over stuff without being seen in first place. Yup. After going back to lower br games with my mediocre but adjusted to 7-8 br skills, I realize this game suks for players and newbs both but at least newbs do not realize it suks yet even after someone get a billions kills their game. I quit after becoming that one guy who would rush a spawn campy location, get 10 kills, get in a plane and get 10 more kills in low br, while having 1-1 kill ratio at where everything basically kills everything one shot and you cross fingers to not get trolled by armor overlaps or ghost shells.

@@johnzermeno3106 No. It is a legit game mechanic, made up rules of own is just cancer in a mp game. Also getting spawn camped or spawn camping is an issue of your or opponent team suking as a whole. You are expected to cover those areas as a team.

The Cobra King coming in with stop sign spaced armor and "ARMORED BOARD" on the side attempting to save your ass was fkn awesome, i love when people in game try and do that. Teamwork makes the game feel more like a game and less grindy

I am that type of player with 4000+ hours, I usually try to defend my teamates at the cost of my vehicle.

Day 2: Hey Phly, I found a cool theory with flares that I was wondering if you could try on the f14a in a video. The way it works is you set the same key bind for flares to decrease throttle so when you flare your afterburner disables and your less of a hot target. Please Consider.

Wouldn't this mean tho that when you throttle down you will always fire a flare? The two problems here is 1) the longer you play the more you will learn to move the throttle during your engagements, to help turns or force overshoot in scissors etc and you wouldn't want flares to be deployed during this (for one thing it alerts enemies to your presence) and 2) you have a finite number of flares and so having them release every time you throttle down would deplete them too much. Unless you mean something other than the down throttle? I don't think phly would go for it, but I could be wrong. The idea of turning off afterburner to make less of a target sounds right in theory but as to whether warthunder actually models this small difference in heat for IR missiles I wouldn't be so sure. Maybe. You could always do this manually without double binding keys/controls and this way you wouldn't waste flares. Kind of defeats the whole idea I know , sorry. Plus what about non IR missiles , radar guided are unaffected by heat signature yet pulling hard , cutting throttle can avoid them , again it would waste flares. Its good to keep thinking tho, always try every idea out of course.

I love this vehicle. It was made in my country. It had a nickname - Ješterka which means Lizard. I think it shot down a Mig21 in Jugoslavia (not sure how considering it had no radar). Best thing is my neighbour has one parked in his backyard (only chassis, without the guns unfortunately)

Yeah it was used extensively in the Yugoslav wars, mostly for ground to ground fire. It was highly effective but vulnerable to small arms fire.

What the strela has in short range it makes up for I the ability to lock onto enemy missiles. It can act as an ODS (Ordinance Denial System) and can save allies and yourself.

My friend got in a jagtiger and I was in 2.7 france. So yeah, a 2C, a B1 bis, and a Crusader 2 all jumped up that high. Managed to kill this thing with 2 shots to the mags from the french 47mm. Decent gun. Amazing armor

One time, i was playing in my obj 279 and i was on a killing streak, like 10 kills. A few wanted to revenge kill me, but i lived. A plane dropped a 1000lb bomb on me, i lived but i was rolled over. 2 team mates then proceeded to try to roll me over for the next like 5 min. They did it, but then the game ended 1 min later. I was telling them to go get a kill, but they still tried to help me. I still remember it like was yesterday, even tho its over 3 months. (Sry 'bout bad english)

hey phly had an idea for a combo vidio like back in the day. u should try to take out the Lorraine 40t with its amazing speed and good gun and combo it with the F4U7 corsairs 114 rockets for ground striking.

My uncle operated one of these in the Kosovo war in 1999! From stories I've heard from him this piece of machinery makes a house turn into dust in one short burst. The Serbian RV i PVO (Wartime Airforce and Anti-Air Defence) still uses these today.

This thing is so much fun to use I get more kills with it than normal tank, because most people dont realize this thing can pen them (if only from the side) Once I got 7 tanks and 4 aircraft with it in 1 life

I feel like it needs a shield on the gun instead of making the gunner sit in a damn bucket

It's magazins are bugged, you can damage them from sides, not from above or frontally.
