I wonder what the point of the back tank is if there are no hoses connecting to the diver? They should have had optional hoses that plug into the mask

I'm going to guess a feature that got cut in the design phase? If you swap for Torpedoes Mask it could plug in there. In theory there should probably be an air line coming from the Backpack, over the left shoulder into the front rebreather pack so you can switch from breathing off the tank to breathing off the rebreather. By the same token he has on two BCD's. The rear one around the back pack and the front Horse Collar style. Although they both blend together to sort of look like 1 Vest type.

I totally get that. Pulse seems last A LOT... but it all comes down to who pays the most for the quickest factory and shipping containers. Can't beat Bezos 🤦‍♂️🤣

Definitely looking forward to getting a few of these guys and plan on turning one into Snake Eyes with a head swap. FYI, There's no reason to give the diver the navigation board if he also has the propulsion device because that also provides navigation. So you can leave one of those accessories off.

Thanks for the shoutout! I need to go through and do a more detailed review. And this figure falls under the spec sheets of military gear that I provided to Hasbro. This figure is what I envision for my Joeverse Torpedo and it’s why I popped one of my Torpedo heads on one of my 3.

Yeah the tolerances on some of those pegs and clips were a bit frustrating. So since he has rebreather, why does he need the pack? I guess I like the hoses to the back better. Love the portraits and clear lense on goggles. It’s a fun figure but it does take some patience. I am getting two as they look like Duke and Stalker. I kind of see them as Torpedo squad mates on mission together.

The Dog Tags are a throwback to the old 12" GI Joe's. It was one of the defining elements. Each doll came with his Dog Tags around his neck. That carried through even to the Adventure Team Days, at least for GI Joe himself. I don't think Atomic Man/Mike/Temu Steve Austin or BulletMan the Human Head Injury had dog tags. I don't think any other Classified have them although I assume Action Soldier, Action Pilot and Action Marine will. The Aqua Scooter does not clip on the Backpack. As cool an idea as that is in SciFi, that's not actually how they work. And attaching them to your back is stupid. I've dove with them. You hold them in front of you. It's the only way to control anything. The clip on the bottom is for the Rifle. The spear gun has 2 hooks on the back of his belt.

Great review! The figure does seem to require high maintenance with all the accessories it is has, idk how to feel about that but cant wait to have mine. always love me some sea diver figures.

@@antonioglascoe5912 Just a quick upper receiver conversion and BAM baby! Heavier, more lethal round at close range, but I wouldn't use it for mid to long range combat, too much of a drop, slower traveling round.

very nice and meticulous review bro essential comparisons, in all the details yeah, 60 years, born in 64, and me in 69, oups! my finances make me pass up this one, like you, I m going for 2 army guys but he s a solid piece for anyone getting the Joe script to mature - realistic no colour accent nonsense with those, minimalist, efficient, lethal.... I m not army building my Joe team, I like it elite, 10 - 1 battle ratio against them, heroic A - team mission impossible [tv] style, but military, hard to write for, pro level I push Hasbro for loose rams, jump packs, to enhance potential [4 each] I go for 82 - 83 + exceptions, Nunchuk, Shooter. and essential Cobras, CC, Baroness, Firefly, Scrap iron, Mindbender, Stormy, and reg officers, troopers, and bats I want real army troopers to involve a level of reality that did nt exist before, support, from them, or rescuing them from Cobra or whatever I also pick from legends and Indy it s a breath of fresh air to get civilian types - victims - action elements aside from the 3 factions [Destro] of course, it might spice things up if we get the October guard, D I work on my 4 scenes - dios, bought lighting, a cutter for the foam I got for free [60'tv] a base supply bay, ancient ruins, dif ruins, and building front so now you know... good show bro

It’s just a repaint of torpedo with a couple new accessories the action soldier figures seems a little more interesting but he is also all reuse I think his poncho and hood are the only new things……im sure that’s how the other three 60th anniversary figures they have planed for later this year are going to be repainted figures and reused accessories with maybe one or two new things …….don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining I think they look great and I’m all in on them just pointing out the facts
