Thought I would share my current favorite jank, maybe you will take inspiration. Myra, the Magnificent this Izzet unfinity commander requires 3 decks and a unhinged pilot to play. I run her as a spellslinger with some artifact love and dice rolling shenanigans for good measure. It's always a rolling good time under the big top.

Here from reddit, I was the one who reccomended Infect. I have a few more cards that I think are good in any Ghyrson deck, Dismiss into Dream and WIllbreaker. That way, if they block your 1/1s, you either make them sacrifice or steal their creatures.

Others have mentioned Reckless Fireweaver and Impact Tremors, but Ingenious Artillerist and Goblin Bombardment would also be good includes.

Couple suggestions: Archetype of Imagination. This is a great way to give all your stuff pseudo unblockable. Sure most of YOUR stuff has flying... but with this out your OPPONENTS stuff never will. You will have to watch out for the odd spider or treefolk though... reach will still work. Blood Clock and Umbilicus: Everyone has to bounce a permanent on their upkeep. For you this is a good thing since you have all these 'etb make a thopter' effects you'll want to reuse. And they can certainly ignore this if they want... so long as they pay a measly 2 life. Umbilicus isn't QUITE budget but... $1.50 isn't bad for something that only had 1 printing... in Urza's Saga. I WOULD also suggest Glaring Spotlight as it's a 1 cmc artifact that let's everyone bypass any pesky hexproof on your opponents stuff AND can be sacced to give all your creatures hexproof/unblockable BUT.... It's gone up to $2 since I bought my copy back when it was .50. Seems like people are starting to catch on that this is a GOOD effect.

@@edhjankcenter No surprise really. It's from WAY back in Urza's Saga AND it gets overshadowed by all the really silly stuff from the set. Umbilicus and Blood Clock do make for a really easy way to reuse ETBs though. One thing that get overlooked is the 'any PERMANENT' qualifier. You can bounce non-creature stuff with these.^^

Giant's Amulet is such an underrated card, i run it in my Yannet deck, any commander with vigilance can run it and just chill on the board

This is a fun one! My groups been trying to do budget restricted commander lately, so this is a slum dunk. With Phyrexia on the way, maybe taking a peek at old Phyrexian cards like Glissa The Traitor or Aron, Benalia's Ruin? A lot of old cards retroactively got the Phyrexian creature type, so there could be some hidden goodies.

This is a great video! I’ve been looking all over for thopter tribal vids because I have my own thopter tribal deck but with brudiclad at the helm. The gameplans might be different but there are a lot of really cool cards in here that I can definitely see myself adding to my own deck

I have just come across your channel and love the deck idea. Just a card I thought of when watching was Subira, Tulzidi Caravanner. With all the thopters you can get some pretty insane card draw.

Here’s a creature that can work. Chandra’s Incinerator. It’s a 5 and 1 Red Elemental 6/6 with trample that can; 1. Reduce its casting cost by X, where X is the amount of noncombat damage dealt to your opponents this turn. This means that one trigger of Impact Tremors with Ghyrson out you can cast this for only one Red mana. 2. Whenever a source you control deals noncombat damage to a player, Chandra’s Incinerator deals that much damage to target creature or planeswalker that player controls. With the amount of sources dealing noncombat damage in this deck, it really seems like this card can do work.

I went and viewed the full decklist, and was like "It's already up to $70?!" Nope, it was just using Cardkingdom instead of TCG ($39, so still a big jump for only a month). 😅 Minimum prices on cards really hoses budget builds. Haha Great content! Thanks!

What about Reckless Fireweaver? It deals one damage to each opponent whenever an artifact enters the battlefield under your control. Really synergistic with the whole Thopter Tribal going on. And for a basic upgrade I would put in Impact Tremors.

Came here to suggest reckless fireweaver as well. Also instead impact tremors you could run warstorm surge, which is basically the same thing but is only 0.30$
