This is exactly how most commander games go. The one deck that did absolutely nothing the whole game wins because the others ran out of stuff whacking each other lol🎉

Idk the biggest issue he was having was keeping his commander on board. It got killed 3 separate times. He had a big mana turn for the win, but had he been able to untap his commander, he might have been able to get there a turn or 2 ago
That Be’lakor + Rite of Replication kill was sweet. I’m currently building a deck based on him and that was one of the first combos I thought to put in there
@TheDankestDungeon

It's a good one!
Fun fact, your Rite of Replication actually did more than 150 damage, because you had two additional Be'lakor when you used it. 210 (150+(6*5)+(6*5)) damage total. 150 is just the floor. Good win though

Please correct me if this is off, but he had the original, plus the 1/1, plus dack’s duplicant, and 5 new ones entering right, Thats a total of 8 that’ll be triggering? And each will trigger for the 5 that enter each with 6 power? 8 be’lakors triggering 5 times each, for 6 damage per trigger? 8x5x6=240 damage?
@brandyourfan9244
Жыл бұрын
@@cooldes4593 Be'lakor only triggers the damage for each other demon that enters. So the 3 Be'lakors each see 5 new ones enter. Each dealing 30 (6*5) damage. 30*3=90 Each of the 5 entering see the other 4 enter. Each dealing 24 (6*4) damage. 24*5=120. 90+120= 210 damage total.

Just letting you know, I’m fairly certain Irenicus’s Vile Duplication makes a direct copy, and so should have made another 6/6 be’lakor, not a 1/1

I would love know what all was in that Abaddon hand!
Wouldn’t the 10 copies of Be’lakor coming in also kill the pilot of the deck? Each sees all the others coming in and makes the pilot lose X life. Although the copies were of the original so they do die to the Legend rule. Which happens first? Their own ETB (which kills the pilot) or the effects of the Be’lakors already onthe field?
@timothychamplin3515

I believe since they are both etb triggers, the controller can choose how to stack them. So could kill opponents before he dies.
@TheDankestDungeon
Жыл бұрын
Yeah he can stack the triggers to kill the opponents first.
@stormincorbyn
Жыл бұрын
Yes, but also, once the trigger does resolve there is only 1 Be'lakor left. The legend rule happens as a state-based action before the triggers resolve. So, barring having any other demons on the field, you'll only lose five life and draw five cards, one for each trigger. The reason this works differently from second trigger, is because since the demons are no longer on the field, the game checks last known information which in this case was six power on each demon
@Srodi
Жыл бұрын
He can stack in a way that the Be'lakor damage trigger resolves first, ending the game before we can resolve the draw trigger.
Just curious but @ 9:41 ghyrson karn player fetched for a land while his commander was on the board. Would that fetch damage trigger ghyrson to deal 2 additional damage?

I didn’t know you can choose not to cast a spell off cascade trigger and get to continue cascading ?
@TheDankestDungeon
Жыл бұрын
I don’t think you can either, time stamp on when this happened?
@spockrates7980
11 ай бұрын
Abaddon gives every spell X or under cascade, where X is the amount of damage done to opponents that turn, so both Fierce Guardianship and Wheel of Fortune had cascade. If you're referring to 6:08, the first cascade was for Fierce Guardianship, where he chose not to cast Lightning Greaves. He then got to cascade off Wheel of Fortune, which was a separate cascade.
No decklists?
How do you record these from above the table???

Yes and no. Could just drill a piece of wood to the ceiling, get a cheap phone holder/mount and attach it to the said piece of wood.
Funny if he casted those lightning greaves he would have a hasted commander... that would of also had shroud... I don't see the logic of running that card and not casting it.

I don’t get how this type of deck building is fun, can’t even enjoy a commander cause these cards all synchronize and do the same thing in any deck, literally just cedh lol.
After Ghyrson got played, his controller used a fetch land taking one damage, witch shud have triggerd Ghyrson. Unless i'm reading the commander wrong?

I really don't understand this type of deck building, if I'm going to fill a deck with 70 high powered Commander staples (Mox diamond, mana crypt, force of negation, jeweled lotus, Dockside, Mystic remora, etc.) then the other 20-30 cards should be more efficient then X spells matter or demon tribal. These decks aren't upgraded pre-cons, they're cEDH decks that have 10-15 pet cards and a weird commander.
@TheDankestDungeon

Correct, these are not upgraded precons, these are strong decks built around the Warhammer commanders. Thanks for watching!

May be you should learn to listen then. Because they literally explain it at the beginning....
Dockside is just such a lame auto include card. doesn't matter which deck always is the number 1 target of reanimation/tutor/flicker etc. does not matter what is the deck's theme or strategy.

@stormincorbyn
Жыл бұрын
Yea but like that's the risk you take shoving a bunch of artifacts in the deck 🤷🏾♂️ Seriously though, the main reason dockside is in the deck is less that it's an auto include and more that I am priced into even CMC ramp because of Gyruda and I'm playing 20+ clones. Being in Grixis with a 6cmc commander and 6cmc pet I'm dying for good ramp. I can also flip it with gyruda then play a clone from my hand with the Mana to get another gyruda. Brent's a clone and wheeled me right away so you didn't get to see the demon kraken in action so yea. All that being said... Yea, screw dockside.
@stormincorbyn
Жыл бұрын
Also the only reason I tutored for dockside there was that my commander cost 10 and Brent had 1 million artifacts. Had either of those things not been the case I probably would have gotten a dread return to get back Gyruda. #1 tutor target is a bit of a stretch, but I get the sentiment! The card is played out!
