I like how the frost around the barrel somewhat hides the wire for the bulb

This is so great...Ive watched it several times...it would be so SWEET if there is a way to put the GB2 "court room" scene proton stream sound effect on a sound card...that would be GREAT!!!

Honestly, it depends on your electronics installed in your wand. I used the screen accurate AG1B flash bulb. All you have to do is get 5v+ to the flash bulb and it'll pop. Mine is triggered by the red push button next to the orange hat light.

Where did you get your sound kit for your pack from?

Created it myself. It only really works with the light kit in this pack.

I know I’m 8 years late, but how are you tapping into the 5volt reference? I’m in the process of building two hero packs and have flashbulbs/connections etc. a lot of gbfans threads are dead too.

In all the packs I have built since 2011, they have had electronics that I designed. Sadly, I did not design the flashbulb into these electronics prior to the boards being printed. But because I designed these boards, I knew how to hack them to get a steady 5v to the orange hatlight/red push button. That is a really long explanation to say I have no idea how to set this up in your builds.

@@mburkit I appreciate the reply, I’m using a ninjatunes electronics kit, that does have an auxillary power source on the wand board, kind of like the gbfans kits. I also have an led “flashbulb” kit, but I would like to use an actual one rather than an led.

@@johnvanek1377 I mean, if you have a multimeter, you could check to see what voltage is going to the LED "flashbulb" kit. Some of those kits are using high voltage LEDs, so maybe you could set a real flashbulb off with it.

@@mburkit I’m not familiar with flashbulbs, would 12volts directly blow it up? Or would it work for a quick flash?

@@johnvanek1377 I mean, you can test a flash bulb with a 12v. I tested one with 9v and it still popped (and did not explode).

Is this an easy addition to a pack as I’d love to add one to my pack. Can you advise how one would do it?

  • @mburkit

The easiest way to do it is you need at least 5v going through the wires that lead to the tip of your wand. Then you use the push button to complete the circuit to pop the flash bulb.

@@mburkit fantastic, I’ve got a benofkent pack which was made with the ninjatunes light and sound. The battery is DC5V/12V. I just wanna know how simple it would be to add the flash bulb and maybe have a bright light in the wand. I’ve got an alternating blue+red bulb but I’d like a white one. Need some electronic advice 😁

@@HazerD honestly, I'd would reach out to Ninjatunes and ask them what they suggest about that stuff. I have never used their kits so I have no idea how they have everything set up.
