Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I'm waiting on a new upgrade that will allow a selection of video game sounds effects and alternate the color of the cyclotron lights and slo-blo light. I'll post a new video with that upgrade as well as the flash bulb effect at the wand tip that has already been added soon.

For sure! I found myself skeptical initially, but when I went to badasscontent.com/1930824751, receiving a free ecigarette kit was super simple. If you're sitting on the fence, you better get over there and check it out soon.

This is amazing it is so realistic I can't even describe how good that proton pack is the music is so cool

Reminds me of the elevator scene, really highlighting the potential danger of those suckers. Very impressive work.

I like how it incorporated sounds from both movies and the video game from '09. The venting effect was a nice touch. Not many people know about it due to not having played the video game.

Thanks for looking and I'm glad you like the effect. My father (JimFin on GBFans) is making more e-cig venting kits that will work with both the GBFans sound/light kit (will require an additional relay module sold separately and available from SpongeFace) and the Mighty Micro-Controller kit (custom relay module included) and they are available in the For Sale section on the boards. There is also a tutorial thread that shows the components and instructions/schematic to make your own if you like.

I'm hoping to have the tutorial done soon, still waiting some spare parts to come in and more data on other sound boards to see how it can be integrated with each of them.

Thanks, I'm constantly swapping out the sound files to mix it up a bit. There is also an aux input that will allow for a MP3 player to be hooked which then allows me to play whatever I like. I like playing "Eye of the Tiger" and the theme from "Back to the Future" for kicks.

Hi, thank you for the nice compliments! It's possble to build a full up proton pack by Halloween depending on how fast I could get various parts and electronics from other vendors. Commision cost would vary from $2400 to $3500 plus shipping, cost depends on if wanting aluminum parts versus resin parts and if any extra features are wanted.

There are many talented builders on GBFans and the RPF. I researched a lot of build threads and examined screenshots for hours to get the look while making this pack unique in it's own right. I have to give credit to my father, James Fincher, for hooking up the sound and lights using an awesome kit produced by Shawn Swift.

Dear Charles. Like several of the other fans that have posted before, I would be very interested in purchasing a pack just like yours. It has all the functionality that I would love to have in a proton pack. The speakers and music were excellent additions. I am certain that several hours of labor went in to creating the masterpiece. Since you know what went into it and what it would take to create replicas of the same, what would total cost for parts, labor, construction and shipping be to make another one? I am not very construction minded and am almost certain I would screw up trying to create one. I find that it would be much more rewarding for you to be paid for doing what you love and would be willing to support you in that endeavor.

+Ryan Wellhoefer Thank you for the very nice compliments; my father, girlfriend and I put a lot of work into this pack and it has undergone even further upgrades since this video was taken (see some of my other videos), but your words are very appreciated. It can take a while to amass all the necessary components and a few weeks or more to build a decent proton pack. There are many others out there that build on commission and charge varying amounts depending on what level of screen accuracy you are trying to achieve, any where from $1200 to $3000, I'd be happy to recommend some of these sellers if you'd like. My father and I modify and enhance existing packs for modest cost, but we have not ventured into taking on full build commissions as of yet. If I were to do a build for someone, I would only do so if I was given a budget to use the best quality parts/electronics that I have access to from sellers I trust (roughly $1500 to $1800). I would also charge additional for the labor time and other paint supplies as I would have to make it worth my while as I also work a full time job (labor would would be $1000 to $1500 depending on what features are wanted). I know it sounds like a lot, but parts are not cheap, there are several expensive tools/hardware that are needed and above all, time to assemble, paint, wire up, and detail, etc. Again, thank you for the kind words.
