Dan Aykroyd who lives in Ottawa and Ernie Hudson actually got to see this replica at the Ottawa Pop-Expo in Nov 2013. They drove around in the thing a bit. This makes it much more LEGIT imo if 2 out of the original cast of Ghost busters drove in it.

As a huge Ghostbusters geek, how did I never see this until now?? That's one of the most awesome things I think I've ever seen, and the effort involved showed true dedication. Absolutely incredible.

I wasn't even born yet when the 1st movie came out. I don't remember the first time I saw the movie but I will always remember the joy it brought me. and also wishing that I had gotten the toys.

Loren did what Ray did and added the 5 panel mirrors, smart move. During the bust montage in Ghostbusters II, you can see that Ray had put one in, although it appears that the regular adjustable RV Mirror had been removed from the vehicle. While it isn't accurate to original Ecto-1, it is accurate to the revamped one in the second movie.

He makes people happy with that car. A beautiful work sir!

Not quite, the real thing has a slightly lower siren and is a 1959 Cadillac hearse ambulance duo not manufactured and never was.

I just recently bought the LEGO Ecto-1 set from Bricklink and i absolutely LOVE IT.

I like how people were excited by one car but you can literally see three of these at a comicon like bruh😂

My favorite thing about the Ecto-1 is the siren and the way it drives
