I loved Slavitza Jovan as Gozer -- she was beautiful, seductive and slinky, but she could have done without the coat of slime bubbles. The electronically modulated voice put me off as a kid, but now, on reflection as a grown-up, I get the why behind it -- it was meant to be scary and menacing. Gozer was called the Destructor after all, not the Seductor. We'll leave the seduction to types like Dana and Janine.❤

Ya I agree. I didn't like Gozer in Afterlife as much as I was hoping I would. She is MUCH better in the first film.

I still liked this Gozer well enough. The flashing lights under her skin were really cool. I just thought she was a little bit too pretty. That is Olivia Wilde isn't it? I was looking for her name in the credits but didn't see it.

@@MikeyJProductions I liked how they tried to make Olivia look like Slavitza's version of Gozer but still made her look different. I'm guessing they never thought to ask Slavitza to return and just decided to recast, but Olivia brought a fresh look to Gozer in my opinion which is more in line with afterlife. Maybe the afterlife producers thought Slavitza was too old to play Gozer now, but I do think they should have asked Slavitza if she wanted to reprise the role of Gozer before casting Olivia.

Ivan Rietman has stated that the game is no longer canon since Afterlife has been developed. I've also heard reviews from people and the video game doesn't really fit "story wise" with Afterlife. I love TVG as much as anyone, but truth be told it want technically "written" by Harold and Dan, like it's claimed to be. Did they wrote the dialogue, have a lot to do with the overall story? Yes. But first and foremost it's a video game, and the many of the level designs, as well level influence, pack upgrades, etc where from the mind of the game developers, not from Harold and Dan. Yes Harold and Dan helped flesh out pack upgrades and levels and what not. But returning to the Sedgwick (and thing similar), were hardly Harold and Dan's ideas, those were the game developers. So TVG story isn't as "pure" or as sacred, as some people think it is. Also, let's not forget, that upon the the release of TVG, the chances of an actual third film were VERY LOW. So, Dan and Harold DID think this was the closetest we would get to a third film, so that's why they said "the game is the third film." But the game is a hodge podge of SO MANY different ideas (Ghostbusters hell bent, a video game, etc). They didn't even get to include everything they wanted to include in the game (parade scene), because Bill didn't finish his lines. So that scene had to be scrapped, and reworked. Later on Paul Fieg pretty much used that scene for the 2016 film. Final point, TVG introduced PLOT HOLES. What about Dana, is Peter cheating on her? If Ivo Shandor was defeated in 1991, why is he in Afterlife (which I'm pretty sure he is). Afterlife has removed TVG from official canon (even Rietman said so). They HAD TO in order to tell this story. Gozer already returned and was defeated in TVG? Kinda weakens her return in Afterlife, don't you think?, Also I've been told, the final scene of the game has a "nod" in Afterlife as well. As does the Real Ghostbusters, which is not official canon either. Having said that, I've also heard that the events of the TVG, can "kinda" fit within the context of Afterlife. But that's just in fans imaginations, not in actual Canon.

Um if you have the Tobin spirit guide .....just make a video per entery ....I know I'll watch
