Ghost Ships: Flying Dutchman, Caleuche, Mary Celeste, Baychimo (ASMR Stories for Sleep)

Tonight I tell you the stories of four different ghost ships, together with their historical context and what happened to them. Two are fictional: the Flying Dutchman, a flute from the Age of Sails that would have traded between Amsterdam and the Spice Islands, and the Caleuche, a legendary ship in the island of Chiloe, Chile. Two are real: the Mary Celeste that mysteriously lost her crew in the Atlantic Ocean, and the Baychimo, that was abandonned but unexpectedly kept wandering for decades in the waters north of Canada and Alaska.

I would love it if there were some more science / sci fi stories "existential questions of reality " like theories of existence , parallel universes all of the different and exotic forms of matter like bose einstein condensates, string net liquid, quark stars, neutron degeneracy pressure, dark matter, dark energy, black holes to what consciousness really is but more in depth than in the sleep episode you did awhile ago. i could be in the minority tho but just a suggestion. Thank you again for everything that you do and being able to keep it add free it means a lot

Can you do a video about World War I? I live in the Americas and it's a topic in history we aren't really taught. It would be interesting to hear about it from a European perspective, especially from a man from one of the nations that participated in it… I'd also be interested in hearing about the Some of my own History from the French Perspective, Particularly The American Revolution. My country doesn't really tell us much about the other nations involved in the Revolutionary War, so I thought it would be nice to learn. I'm always trying to be as well informed as possible and I've learned so much from your videos already…

The 1500s to 1700s exploration naval period is ripe for romantisation and fantasical stories that you don't really see. (Yes I know slavery happened then but other timeperiods also had ugly sides and those are written about all the time). Kinda how steampunk has a victorian setting or epic fantasy has medieval settings. Pirates of the Caribean is set then but that focuses almost exclusively on pirates and magical sea curses. This period actually caught my attention when I watched Fena Pirate Princess, an anime with a lot of promising avenues just unfortunately suffered from choppy storytelling. It had everything, romance, mysterious islands, steampunk submarines, ancient gods, biblical prophecies, sacred lineages, European court intrigue, band of assasins, and it also had asian influence being a Japanese anime obviously but because it was set in the naval scene you could have any nationality show up and it would make sense which opens the door for mythology stories of those nationalities. The only other story that piqued my interest for a setting was Castlevania which was just real medieval European history except demons, vampires and vampire hunters was the norm. Thus setting is a goldmine for fantasy adventure writers.
