I must be really slow to catch on. I wondered why you would rerecord this video when you have 11 million views on the previous version. Finally, I noticed the magic word "Live" and realized that this was a new development Of course, it looks like three "Live" videos just slipped past me in the last month. I am so glad you are doing this. They sound great and give us a much better idea of how the song will sound in concert. It also makes your videos releases much less dependent on getting studio time. Thank you for doing this!

It's not always a crutch. It worked for Woody Guthrie. Bob Dylan. Tom Petty. It might not be preferable to you but it's not a hindrance to success at all.

I used to listen to Frankie Lane sing this on my Grandmother's old 78's, when I was six. One of my best songs...That version had more of an impression of terror and drumming hooves, but this one is WAAAYY more musical and creative. To be honest, I can't choose berween them.
