This was from their 2nd album. Probably need to check in on the lore. Each new album has a new character. That will help with time-line. Opus Eponymous-#1-Papa 1 Infestissumam-#2-Papa 2 Meliora-#3-Papa 3 Prequelle-#4-Cardinal Copia Impera-#5-Cardinal ascended to Papa 4 status. He earned his skull paint

You need to check out Elizabeth, one of their best songs. It really shows his range but now he's unable to sing it because his voice has changed now that he's older.

have you heard mummy dust live? if not you definitely should. the reason i say life specifically is because the studio version is manly done in just a husky whisper but live he growls. like full on metal growling. and its surprising to hear his voice do that if you are more familiar with his more melodic songs definitely react to a live performance of mummy dust

It's not so much about the orders of the music videos. But there is important to know that the first three records is connected to each other. The debut album Opus Eponymous is about the coming of the Antichrist. The second album Infestissumam (where Year Zero is on) is about the presence of the Antichrist. And finally the third album Meliora is about "the absence of god". Every record has a new Papa and since this was on the second album the leader of the band in the video is Papa Emeritus ll. On the fourth album there was no Papa, instead there was Cardinal Copia and that's why you get some more information in the music videos from the singles from that album. Like Dance Macabre and later on Kiss the go goat and Mary On A Cross which was on the EP Seven Inches of Satanic Panic where you can see the father of all Papas Papa Nihil sing in the band back in 1969. The main reason of everything that happens in the Ghost universe and all the characters is that in normal life Tobias is an ordinary married family father with two kids living in an ordinary apartment in Stockholm who likes to hang out with friends having a beer on the pub Garlic and Shots in Stockholm when he has time off. Not much to create a story from or to write about in magazines. You can get more information if you watch the chapters on Ghost KZread channel. Plese watch Zenith, Watcher in the sky or why not the first song ever written for the band Stand by him.

The order is actually quite important. The definition below is from a Ghost wiki. "Opus Eponymous is about the coming of the Antichrist. Infestissumam is about the Antichrist and what people typically perceive as unholy. Lastly, Meliora is about a world which looks to Ghost/Satan in the absence of God. Additionally, with each new album comes a new Papa to lead the masses". Later on, the Prequelle is about the black plague and finally Impera is about the rise and fall of empires.

If you want to get into the lore, the order matters. There has been a narrative from the beginning about bringing forth the anti-Christ. A fan theory is that the next Papa will actually be the anti-Christ, but who knows. Good news: we are getting a movie and probably a new album soon. You will get to experience it for the first time with the rest of us!

I think that the subtitles are wrong, it's not "Hell satan" but "Hail Satan", I think that is quite a difference :)

This might be cringe but good to see some young fellas keeping with the metal style. In my later 40's now and feel like a fossil of a bygone era but there are still some carrying the flag.

Every album they get further away from what I like, unfortunately. This is easily one of my favourite Ghost songs.
