The music video shows the first meeting between Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator. The father and mother of Papa Emeritus lV. (Cardinal Copia). Prequelle is based on the theme of the black plague and Dance Macabre was the dance of death where the infected danced and partied all night long like there was not going to be a tomorrow and for them that was the reality. And to qoute Phil Anselmo: Huge song, huge song ❤️

Not sure if I'm missing something, but I'd rather say this shows their reunification after the split that occured following Kiss the Go-Goat. Would make sense as to why the doorman seems to recognize Nihil.

@@Kodaemon I don't think it makes sense for this to be a reunification of the 2. In the kiss the go goat music video, which is years later in the timeline. Sister is still mad at him.

@@Kodaemon Nope, this was before. That's when Nihil was first initiated in the Clergy and after he became the lead singer of the recently formed Ghost (and Sister Imperator's lover). Kiss The Go-Goat takes place some time after, when he was already starting to make success with Ghost and she was pregnant. They broke up, she went alone and gave birth to his bastard son which years later she would introduce as Cardinal Copia to be the lead singer after she ordered the murder of all of Nihil's legit sons in revenge, leaving the spot open for her son to step in.

I love Ghost! Tobias is such a talented singer, songwriter and performer. Would love to see your reaction to Ghost's "Hunter's Moon" if you haven't done it already. 👍

Yeah, that was supposed to be in the 60's and shows the "initiation" of Papa Nihil, and also the beginning of his relationship with Sister Imperator. He was the lead singer of Ghost during the late 60's/early 70's until the band broke up. Then they reformed it in 2010 to release the first album with Nihil's eldest son, Emeritus I, as the new lead singer. Since then, the job was passing down to his other sons, Emeritus II for the 2nd album and Emeritus III for the 3rd album. Then some shit happens, bastard kid, murders, betrayals, revenge and a lot more of lore until the point we're at now. Nothing in Ghost is just by chance, all of it feeds a fictional story in the background. It's more than a band, it's a whole act.

Always here for a Ghost reaction! I took a quick look, and I don't think you've reacted to "Hunter's Moon", "Call Me Little Sunshine", "Faith", or "Cirice". They're all great choices. I don't feel like there's necessarily any specific order to listen to them, but know that each album has a specific sound and vibe it's going for. The newer the music, the more of a throwback to classic rock it becomes (mostly, unless you listen to "Twenties" lol), and the older it is the more overtly "satanic" it is, though that's really more of a satirical commentary on organized religious (especially Catholicism).

Yes 👍 let's go! My FAVORITE underrated ghost song. It's fucking balls to the wall amazing. But 'Darkness at the heart of my love' is the most moving song, that isn't TOO sad but it's definitely somber, of ghost's for me. It perfectly describes a narcissistic dynamic but it uses flowery language to try to seduce and conceal the darkness within which reveals the hollow void that comes with an inability to experience true intimacy due to a total lack of genuine empathy. It's tragic. It's a haunting piece for its accurate depiction of that perspective (like '(call me?) little sunshine'). Their Imperia album is amazing in general.

Hi, I HIGHLY recommend Life Eternal, it’s about his brother, Tobias actually took it off the touring setlist bc it was too much for him. It’s an incredibly beautiful song. Also there is the Ghost Chapters 1-17 Are on KZread. Definitely recommend watching those if you haven’t! They’re less than 5 min each.

Honestly worth doing an album reaction to Impera (their latest album) whole perfect album which works as one piece really well showcasing the rise and fall of empires.

When i first heard this was a couple years ago and i felt a bit of connection with certain parts that is similar to a song from tarzan but i just didnt contibue with it.

Tobias is a talentsinger..but he didnt know it himself..created theband as a songwriter but didnt find a leadsinger to it so he went in self..and here we are..glad you didnt find one

I agree. The music videos make more sense when you watch the Ghost lore videos. The music videos have their own place they fall into in the storyline.

Nope. That was in the 60's and that is a young Nihil, which is Terzo's father.

The dude on the right when they are going into the party, and the one who doesn't get eaten by the vampire aerobics dancers, is Tobias Forge.
