Nice Dave. I haven't done a neck through but it's coming. This is going to be a killer guitar. Can't wait to see it completed. ✌️

Looks great Dave. Looks like you getting a lot more comfortable with the CNC. Still haven't pulled the trigger myself but I'm very tempted. I need to make myself more organized before I go there.

Looking really good so far. Still not sure why most people that put tops on a guitar don't route a channel for the wiring before the glue the top on seems it would be easier and less risk than drilling for the wiring after the tops are in place.

Thanks Robert. Actually I normally do run a wire rout prior to installing the tops but in this case since I have chambered wings it will be easy to drill a hole from the pups into the body chambers.

I'm a little jealous of you guys with CNC machines. 😅

Me too Scott, I'm just not sure I'm up to the programming part of it.

@@jonahguitarguy that too. I’m not much of a 3D modeler.

Dave, I'm curious why you didn't use the alignment holes you already had in the core? You could have taped the "back" to it, drilled the existing hole through, taped the "front" to it and then drilled the existing hole from the other side rather than put two new holes through the whole sandwich. Also, I'm still super jelly of your CNC. 😉😎

The alignment holes that were there from when I glued on the laminates are way on the edge of the body and will be cut off soon. The new alignment holes are right on the edge of the body where I can keep them in place until all the machine work is complete. It may make more sense if you watch the next episode. As always I really appreciate you!

You should show your 3d computer screen at the start of the next video before cutting out the Body and profiles, I think that would be extra neat!!!
