Let me know your thoughts on AR Foundation. Do you prefer to build AR apps for each platform like Android, iOS separately or would you prefer to build using a multi-platform AR dev framework like AR Foundation?

Thanks KillShot, Glad you liked it. At the time of recording, chose the 2019 version as it was the latest stable release and also taking into consideration the compatibility with the frameworks used. Am working on a new AR video as well, so will definitely consider your suggestion and use the latest 2020 version for a full hands-on tutorial. Its gonna be fun. Stay tuned. 🙂

Hi, I've added both projects linked but there is no UX folder or Sample file when I opened them. When I drag and dropped the UX folder with the sample scene from the window to the hierarchy, there's a bunch of errors related to "No active UnityEngine.XR.ARSubsystems.XRSessionSubsystem is available. Please ensure that a valid loader configuration exists in the XR project settings." Please advise thank you

Hi Antonio Hernandez, I have added the entire project I used for this tutorial in my GitHub. Also make sure to use the same unity version as used in the tutorial. You need to add the AR Subsystems to your project as well as shown in the video. Let me know if it helps. As long as the same version and the code is used along with the same settings as shown, you should be able to get it up and running. Hope this helps. 🙂

Wow, I learned more than expected watching this video. I have a couple of things to say: I didn't get where is Unity MARS in this video I am looking for ARCore Extensions for ARFoundations, I followed Google guides, but they looks obsoletes. Anyway, I am going to check your channel videos and search for it. Also I want to try what I learned here in a different project which no needs of ARFoundations

Hi Shubham, Glad you liked it. Yes, you can create your own 3d game objects into Unity. You can also search for these in the Unity Asset store assetstore.unity.com/ which will save you some time. There are free assets available. Regarding building AR for web, AR Foundation still doesn't support it to the best of my knowledge. However, there are solutions and plugins out there when you search for web AR, most of which is based on javascript which should help you on your project. I will make a video tutorial of the same. So stay tuned! All the best for your project. 👍🙂

Hi jitendra rathore, Did you see the camera permission dialogbox when you launched the app for the first time. Make sure your build settings are configured properly and that you have properly installed all the plugins as shown in the vide like the XR and XR subsystem, AR Core etc. Also make sure your Android version is supported as well. Hope this helps.
