One thing I can add. Anyone looking to buy land. Start saving now for a down payment. You can't buy anything with nothing. Once I found my place I had saved 20k for a down payment, Just by putting a little away each month. Six years after my purchase of 19 acres with a small cabin I still pinch myself each time I stand on the deck looking at the distant mountains to remind me, yes it's mine.

I need help. I am currently looking to buy land with a house. I found a farm that comes with 81 Acres that hugs public. What are some amenities I should be looking aside from water and cover as it seems to be only timber.
Can't wait to buy land soon. Hopefully I'll have my home paid off soon and I can wait to find my own hunting grounds.

Save your money ,use it for good gear tents etc everything you need to go hunt anywhere is the USA there is millions of miles of public property to hunt don't be stuck on 20 acres the idea is to feed your family do it in the most economical way possible if you want to make hunting a sport hunt with a camera....... sorry this concept is weird to me I don't get it....

There's nothing wrong with that approach either. Everyone has different resources, whether it's time, health, or monetary. We're lucky to have the opportunity to enjoy the public property across the nation.
