Aaron is a wonderful model of a man. He immediately jumps into solving a problem like an adult. And Laura is right there backing up her man. Aaron was also polite enough to make certain we knew Pedro's crew wasn't at fault. It's just so heart lifting to peer into this amazing family's life. You know the white lights look really pretty with the Thanksgiving/Autumn decorations. They don't clash. The white lights show off the fall decorations and the landscape generally. I think it's a nice transition between holidays and a really classy look.

Just like Aaron says about buying a tractor. “Find the size you need and get one size bigger. “ I have found the same to be true with conduits for future use… always go bigger. You never know what you may need to run through it. 3” is a good rule of thumb with sweeps. I know Aaron always thinks ahead so this one was just an oops.

Your absolutely best light year ever. All so gorgeous but when you turned the camera to the maples! ……a Laura “Ohoho” came out of my mouth. I’ve never ever heard that sound come from me before. And then when you showed the shed from a distance I actually gasped. Oh my huge huge success this year. Can’t wait to see the couple of trees with the deer around the pond.

I am smiling because every time my family thinks a project will be easy and quick we have to reconstruct something.❤️❤️❤️

I bought my Hubbs an extra thick solid black one from Home Depot. He rolled his eyes and humored me. At first. Now he uses it all the time and says it is one of the best tools I've gotten him.

I love the idea of just simple white lights! Benjamin is so mature! Great helpers!

I would turn the porch lights off, to let the icicle lights shine. I would also turn off the chandelier in the greenhouse once the tree is setup in there. The trees along the driveway are glorious. I like that the white lights are true white and don't have that blue hue. Awesome job to the whole team.

I love all white lights! It make the property shine. Your little helpers are the best! There are so many lessons you are teaching your children. Today's lesson- patience, flexibilty, problem solving with a solution. All while still having a smile on your face. I don't think I would have been that cheerful. Good work, mom and dad!

I believe he is only 4, possibly turned 5 this year. Also this is a garden channel, and they don't share too much about their kids. Yes once in a while the kids are in the video, but they don't want to share too much personal things about their kids for good reason.

Laura, why don't you plant a permanent christmas tree in the circle?

Love your "refined" approach to outside lighting this year. 1 suggestion + 1 request: May I suggest a pointsettia "tower" in the sunroom to contrast against the white siding (as an alternate "tree")? Request - may I ask for a simple video tour (with music) of all your final decorated interior trees? I love your holiday style and get lots of inspiration from the way you decorate your trees. I know it seems like a "repeat" of past years, but I think there a many followers who would love a view into your holiday decor each year. Thank you for considering this request -- have a blessed Thanksgiving and may you, your family and all co-workers/trades partners enjoy a healthy and happy holiday season!!

Oh I love it all! I am a huge fan of the white lights! It just looks so peaceful. It is so hard to decide on my favorite spot, the little Hartley trees are so cute, the tree on the balcony looks so elegant, the big tree in the circle and the deer at the pond are very woodland like, the lite up lane, and the sweet chicken coop. You’ll probably get more eggs with all the light. But my absolute favorite spot is the garden shed. Oh my, it embodies it all, peaceful, woodland, sweet, elegant and inviting. Thanks for sharing. Love love love Benjamin and Samantha helping.

I totally agree, but a lot of young parents today they both have to leave the home and go to work. So it’s a lot different for parents that are fortunate enough to be home with their children during the day.

We both have been watching you every day for so many years and we just love you and your family! Benjamin's little tree is so precious! Kym bought me a beautiful amaryllis to watch watch grow. Monica's made sure that Kym took a calendar for me! Kym got some beautiful things, and just adored your mom and sister. They were so kind to her. And I will have those two videos forever!
