The guy had some kind of pill addiction and fell asleep at the wheel and his real girlfriend died in the wreck,. The guy can never forgive himself for killing the girl that he loves and tries to clone her so he can have that same love back in his life but no matter how many iterations he makes it’s never as good as the original real thing. Moral of the story is don’t screw up a good thing when you have it because you may never get it back.

My interpretation is that his gf had some genetic disease and died (hense the blood in the supermarket. And its probably some heart disease based on the diagrams on his desk). So he keeps cloning her and trying to invent new treatments untill he find the cure. It still hits him just as hard as her first death though (I interpreted the pills as something to treat depression, and the scene when he veered off the road as him giving up hope. That clone's time ran out.) "Never came around" is a term that can be used to express "He never found the cure" or "She fell ill and died".

The video ain't confusing to me,the girl originally died because of a car crash because the guy was on drugs and the guy was constantly trying to fix this problem by making a "clone" of her,but the problem is the girl had chronic leukemia and no one knew that before she died in that car crash so everytime he cloned her the clone would die for the same reason. As the description says: Some things cannot be fixed

i see this as his original love died in car crash, so he keeps trying to create clones to replace her because he can't let her go, but they keep breaking down and dying no matter how hard he tries. to me the clones are a metaphor for other relationships as he tries to move on, but they always fail because he is just trying to replace Her. his scars are too deep from his loss and he still can't let go after so many attempts

This song perfectly captures addiction to prescription meds. I actually broke down crying while watching it, because it was like looking into a mirror. When I first met my wife, I would constantly have to sneak off to take pills in order to "feel right". At a certain point, you get such a tolerance to the medication that it's not even about getting high or feeling good. You are taking them to ward off the withdrawals. You are so ashamed of being sick, and ruining the moment. You don't want to be honest and tell people you need help. So you just pop another pill to make everything right. So that you can function normally. So many moments when my wife and I first started dating, where I was taking the medication without her knowing. Thank god it was never to the point that it led to me blacking out (I wasn't that addicted). But this video kind of captures how quickly this kind of addiction could burn down everything around you. I am lucky in that I ended up getting clean and marrying my wife, and we have been together for 7 years now. She's my best friend, and we are incredibly happy. But I look back on those early years with so much regret. On the one hand, I remember the intense love we had when we first met. You never forget those first dates. But on the other hand, I get torn apart with shame, just thinking about how I was controlled by pills. And how Every major moment we shared, I wasn't fully "there" in the moment. Apart of me sometimes feels like I was a fraud. Like the memories we shared that she remembers, were not fully true because I wasn't fully in the moment due to medication. Anyways I hope anyone that reads this: stay away from prescription meds. I was given them legitimately for an injury. And they can ruin your life. Obviously, if you need them and are responsible, absolutely take them (especially if prescribed by a doctor). I more so am talking to people that want to take them for fun.

If you see the video clip of this song, you will see a strange story of a guy trying to fix clones. His girlfriend died in auto crash and the guy just cloned his girlfriend to continue to spend time with “her” on his side. But the thing is that the clones are apparently broken and he is trying as hard as possible to improve the clones after each “failure”. This story can be a sort of metaphor for a broken heart: the guy lives a real love story with his girlfriend but he made a few mistake (the pills in the video). Theses mistakes make leave his girlfriend from him and it was very brutal (auto crash). All his other girlfriends look like her physically (the clones) but they are don’t really happy (in love ?) with him (the clones are inert and lifeless), plus there are always something that push the girl to break with him (the clones broke with times and he buried/hidden them). He is always trying to find a girl that looks like the first one with the same love (he is trying to improve the clones in his lab) but this never end. (a high amount of clone corpses are buried/hidden)

I think the bigger meaning to this video is not about the characters themselves, but the metaphors they represent. The girl and the guy represent a relationship, the guy loses that relationship, his first love, but can't fully get over the pain leaving it had caused, no matter how many new relationships he gets, they're never as perfect as his first true love, (the clones represent new relationships). Maybe the part where he falls asleep at the wheel represents him getting tired of the first relationship, and the crash represents how terribly wrong he was to leave her.

So my take on this video is that his girlfriend is living with a form of chronic leukemia, which can go unnoticed for years. Symptoms include lethargy, pale skin, fatigue and easy bleeding (nose bleeds), which all of his clones showed. Since the original girl died early in a car crash, no one knew of her condition and she had yet to show any signs. The main character then goes on to clone her hoping to bring her back into his life, but she keeps dying of the same fate. His depression gets worse as more clones die off and he needs to be constantly taking pills. It also doesn't help that the death of his girlfriend was caused by him. Through his crazed efforts, he tries to bring back the unique and lively girl he loved, but fails to notice that true love is irreplaceable.

Sometimes... just sometimes, I think about leaving this world, I even feel euphoric and excited to leave this place, I think about the messages I’ll send my friends and family before I go, and how I’ll be really sorry to leave. But then I listen to this song. And it keeps me here on earth.

Let your end happen under Gods will. Not your own. We were never meant to take our own life. The damage you'd do to your family by sending them messages before you go is selfish. Let them listen to your voicemails while you were here talking about how your glad to be here with them. That'll make them appreciate your life here not resent you for purposely hurting them. I had a friend who killed himself and a friend who died naturally. Got a new phone just to save their messages in my old phone. When I reminisce, the friend who went naturally. I have good feelings. The friend who killed himself. I read em and feel anger and bad feelings of... why tf did You cut Your life short jus bc of momentary problems.

If you're reading this, you fix broken people. Once they're repaired they're better than you and they leave. Don't fret. Eventually they break down again and then the real trapdoor hits them. You were their angel. Gen X signing out.
