Bro got whooped so bad he became racist.

The only reason Toji didn’t kill Geto is because the assassin was concerned with what’ll happen to all of the cursed spirits the sorcerer wields. Toji didn’t know if the spirits would be released or die with Geto. So Toji spared Geto within an inch of the ladder’s life.

Mappa did an amazing job extending the fight between Geto and Toji, since in the manga Toji didn't fly around and do all that crazy stunts bro just straight up killing the rainbow dragon and the mouth slit woman without even breaking a sweat

i currently got my best friend to rewatch jjk with me and rewatching it for the 3rd time around i must say i’m much more appreciative of this scene. This fight scene was beautifully executed by mappa! I also started watching Hell’s Paradise & amazing work they did in that as well!

Geto’s voice sounds fine, y’all gotta talk to more people irl. How old is Geto, 16-18 here? Once you hit the depth of puberty your voice stays the same for the rest of your life, and that can happen as early as 11 for some guys.

Geto's voice isn't bad, but Toji's definitely doesn't fit. I think its just jarring to hear their voices together in one scene because it just feels mismatched. I think if Toji's voice actually fit him then people wouldn't be saying much about Geto's voice since it wouldn't be as jarring

I dont dislike Toji’s voice. I like the rasp of it and it not being so deep makes him sound more ice cold. I would personally prefer a deeper voice, but I still like this voice.

Hell nah Kaiji Tang is perfect for Gojo, he is very passionate and just as animated as Gojos personality. It wouldnt be a good fit, given by Toji physique his VA should have sounded mature deeper a bit more cold and impassive with little interest or care of anything much. Given Kaiji character roles he doesn't quite fit those roles imo although he is taleneted and can do any role I am sure as you mentioned, he nailed Gojo so well

It's a damn wonderful way to effectively say "Where are you looking?" while in a fight, cause your whistle would more than likely distract them. Geto might've been able to dodge if he was both faster and not distracted.

Geto has the ability to absorb cursed spirits that are at least 2 levels beneath him unconditionally and he’s a Special Grade sorcerer so, any curse below Grade 2 would be immediately absorbed and any curse at Grade 1 or above would have to be weakened first before it can be absorbed. However, the Inventory Curse had a close enough relationship with Toji that Geto couldn’t immediately absorb it.

I'm just going to say it we should switch the VA's around in JJK like Toji's VA should have been Gojo, Gojo's VA should have been Geto, and Geto's VA should have been Toji. Just saying it would make more sense since to me Geto sounds like Toji's age and Toji sounds like he's still in high school Gojo is fine but I think the way I made it sound is much better.

@Keurgui1 I'm going off of how they sound. I like the dub VAs as much as the next, but you tell me why Geto, a 16 year old sounds more mature than Toji, an early 20s man. Now later on the voices match as they should but they just sounded a bit off to me since they sounded like they were in their late 20's that just doesn't make much sense, ya know. Now the sub is goated because the sub is always goated, but everything is just an opinion, and bro, I didn't even remember writing this 4 months ago 🤣.

@Keurgui1 Yeah, I typically watch both because the sub helps me learn Japanese a bit and the dub is when I want to understand without translating or reading. Plus I'm not big on judging performances unless it's ungodly terrible, so I do end up judging the voice with the character simply because I wonder why that voice for that person

@@ExoticFlexing I ain’t talking about his power, I’m talking about his rotten personality, not only that he cares more for his cursed tool more than his own son, even that guy who hired him cared more for his son than he did, when he asked how megumi was doing he didn’t even know who he was talking about, then during the fight he remembered that’s what he named his cursed tool and thought he was talking about it when he asked how megumi was doing, then to top it all off he sold his own son to the very people he hated, for a guy who hated the zenin family he sure modeled his entire personality and life after them, all I can say is I hope when he meets megumi’s mother in the after life that she utterly and mercilessly tears him to pieces for eternity.
