Nailed it!!! It was the reminder of the anterior pelvic tilt that did it for me! Still have yet to join my legs together in pincha from straddle, but the progressions really helped! Will try again another time. Thanks Leigha! 💛💛

Can you also please do a follow along/drill practice for forearm scorpion? It has been eluding me for quite some time! Thank you Leigha, I’m a big fan since 2018! 💛💛

At my 1st try, this drill is more to the core. I still need to powered up my fore arms as well. And at my 2nd try, for sure I could send my legs up. Great achievement for me . Thanks for sharing your trick of this straddle press technique ☺️ Love you 😘

I love the tips Leigha, it felt great but for me it's my forearm strength and tight hips I think. Thank you loved it anyways!!

This was great! I would love to see more of these, could you see yourself making a chinstand follow-along, for example? :) I didn't quite get my pincha press, unfortunately - I just find it so hard to engage my butt, back and legs when I'm trying to press, it feels like all the weight is in my arms and I think I need to learn how to engage all these other muscles to have enough strength to press up!

It’s a journey for sure, and there’s no way around needing tremendous pushing strength through arms, shoulders and upper back. … As for chinstand, I’ve got a follow-along on my member site.

I love your classes! Been following you for a while but I still can not press up to pinch a pressing without kicking up using one leg. I think I need to build my ab or core strength. Any tips? I can’t do this rotation of the hip you talk about upside down. 🙃😩 would be great if you can share more tips 🙏🙏🙏 thank you so much for your amazing classes Leigha ✨

My issue, too. I can't decide if it's a core issue or a mental block. Maybe both? Or I'm so used to kicking it's just what my body wants to do? Frustrated with myself

I did the full practice but could not even lift my feet of hips high and land them softly. It was more a loud bump on the ground every time. pincha has been my nemesis ever since. I can hold a decent handstand and see good progress in a straddle press on my hands. The headstand press pincha is also no problem whatsoever. So, I dont know what else to do.... my upper body strength is really good, my core strength is really really good but simply holding a straight pincha is still, after years of practice, impossible. Do you have any other idea or reccomendation what I could try? I am starting to feel like giving up on this asana and just leave it be. The only "excuse" I have is: my arms are really quite short and I do not have a lot of distance between my face and the ground... best wishes from Hamburg

It sounds like shoulder mobility work would help you! With enough strength at your end range of shoulder flexion, it's going to feel like your arms are longer. Think: puppy, puppy on blocks, puppy at a wall, active work, which is hard to describoe here. I'm sure there's a lot of help out there if you search for it. I actually have a full hour dedicated to this work on my member site, which you could technically sign up for for free, download the class and be done with it. Check back in with how it's going!
