With the A330's tilted landing gear, even the landings are silky smooth.

Hoping to fly with the A330neo soon!!

The 330 is amazing with Cathay Dragon and CX - love the 2-4-2 layout as you can get a window seat and still be within 1 seat to the aisle! (Unlike 3-3-3 or 3-4-3) - the only downside is the curvature of the window/side panel but as I was still a child back then it was ok.

Me too and if you are wondering they are actually competing against another A330 operator Philippine Airlines (國泰航空) on 香港🇭🇰 马尼拉🇵🇭 since the 1990s when both got A330-300s although competition for both started September 5th 1946. If you want me to translate what I just did with traditional Chinese text it's Philippine Airlines Hong Kong to Manila Market. If you ask the Taiwanese and Hong kongers that usually fly Hong Kong to Manila they prefer a Cathay Pacific A330 over Philippine Airlines A330-300s. there are two versions of them Safran seat Mabuhay Class 3-3-3 Fiesta class the other one is a 1-2-1 Mabuhay Class 2-4-2 Fiesta Class both have Comfort class cabins.

@@GarlandTexasSpotter2024 most LCCs do that, i.e. Air Asia, Lion Air, and the airlines that you mention. Actually, even the original 3-3-3 on B777 also can be squeezed into 3-4-3 just like Emirates, so yeah, whatever the manufacturers offer, airlines will always try to squeeze that...

why order an a330neo when you have the money for a 787-9? Not hating on the a330neo but with the resources these airlines have, the 787-9 is a better option while for low cost carriers, new/start-up airlines and airlines which are financially in a difficult position now, the a330neo is a better option.
