The first overclock I ever got for the epc was magnetic cooling unit. The second one I got(much later) was heat pipe. DRG is a very good teacher lmao.

Energy Rerouting I like to use on the EPC to make the weapon a general purpose sidearm, a means of swarm clearing with TCF, and TCF mining. It does pair nicely with the Cryo Cannon with the Ice Storm Overclock. Persistent Plasma I like to use with the Sludge Pump's Disperser Compound, so I can add a layer of lingering plasma on top of the burning sludge. It's actually pretty effective against Bulk Detonators, but I wouldn't count on it working as well against Dreadnaughts. Heavy Hitter is okay, but I mainly use it when I take the Driller on a Sabotage Operation. Works great at taking out Sniper Turrets at long range, or just about anything out of the Flamethrower's reach.

when using both overcharger and heat pipe, you will get best value with burning nightmare and a cryo cannon. temp shock with the epc deals 3x dmg, which can be either from charged or non charged shots. with an all dmg overcharger, you can almost knock out a haz 5 praetorean with one charged temp shock. lastly, the epc is just not good enough for temp shock on hordes, vs the wavecooker.

What a timing because I was just trying to figure out how to make use of the EPC. It feels like it wants to be for AoE clear but then most Driller primaries can do that just fine. But then when I try to use it specifically for AoE clear it doesn't feel smooth enough to do that. If that makes any sense. Suppose I'll try pairing it with the cooler for the shock build.

I've been loving persistant plasma for mining and grunt hoardes, and ice storm with tier 5 aoe for more single target / pannick weapon😅 Of course, Axes and drills when enemies are frozen and vampire perk. Works for me, and quite well

Thanks for another great DRG vid Ron! Was wondering. What would you do for industrial sabotage as Driller? I feel like I am almost completely useless on Industrial Sabotage with my driller builds and would be glad to have some builds/ tips!

2 max dmg dmg c4 instantly blow up all 4 vents on the caretaker at once. Easiest way to do this is to drill to the roof above the caretaker and drop c4 from there, alternatively ask your engi to make a bridge for your c4. facemelter and axes are great for fighting bots in general.

Sludge Blast is really quite strong on those missions. AG mix is also a great option. Full reach flamethrower is also really good for taking care of the turrets. Explosive reload is also really good too.

The EPC has really satisfying vibration on Console.

I would recommend Heavy Hitter for an OC, and then 12321 for the build.

Heavy hitter is amazing, two to three shots and theyre on fire and i can walk away, really ammo efficient, no i dont play haz 5, im not an idiot nor sadist

Before Season 4 I only used the EPC as the match to light my goo on fire. Now that the Subata can cause gooed enemies to chain explode I've completely stopped using the EPC since watching a conga line of grunts pop one after the other is just too funny.

Still not happy with devs ruining epc mining since i practised quite a bit to epc mine and the gun now is probly the worst in the game
