Growing tomato plants is easy, and I'll show you the five things I did to get the biggest tomato plant I've ever grown. It has taken over my garden and is over 10 ft tall when propped up.
I know this thing probably isn't going to make the Guinness Book of World Records, but nonetheless it is a personal milestone I'm very happy to achieve! I've been gardening for almost 30 years, and I've never grown a tomato plant this big.

It's a chocolate cherry tomato plant, which is also one of my favorite plants to eat. It's great with mozzarella in caprese, make salad mixtures pop, and are great by themselves - almost as sweet as candy.

    Somewhere I read grocery store tomatoes are bred for uniformity and shelf life. Sacrificing taste.

    @larrycumbia2741 That is very interesting. I know a lot of tomatoes are bred for disease resistance and size., but I wasnt aware of shelf life. I know that most grocery store tomatoes are refrigerated at some point and are usually picked green and ripen later. This affects their quality a lot too.
