So when you ask your board for your foreign affiliate club would you suggest picking a club in a country with a high youth rating and high sporting importance For example Brazil or any South American country ?

I don't think scouting has anything to do with intakes, I think it maybe should have some crossover in the future but at the moment, no.

Having at least one scout with 20 judging player potential or as high as possible has the highest impact on youth intake and as long as your recruitment is 15plus.

I'm not sure scouts have any impact on youth intakes mate, the guy who worked at SI didn't mention them.

@@LewisH90stybb gaming did a video on it he does a lot of these test for fm and he found those two biggest factors it’s worth a watch his stuff. I’ve used his advice from that video and I’ve had 2 golden generations with only lvl 15 youth rec and a few scouts with high judge pot 🥳

@@LewisH90 stybb gaming did a video on it worth checking out and he does a lot of other tests. I’ve managed to get two golden generations in my latest saves and in all years I’ve played I’ve only ever had 1 before.

Hello, do you have any idea what I can do if I never get the option to upgrade my youth facilities? They are at level 8/10. I don't know what name this level has, but "state of the art is 2 steps above that. Im in 2030 now with 3 friends are none of us got the option ever to ask for that. All other facilities are at max. for about 5 years now. The climax of this is, that I never get youth players above 2 golden and sometimes maybe a half white star. None of these have a chance in my team as it is full of at least fully evolved 3-4,5* players in their mid20's. Finances should be good enough with over 100.000.000 and the end of a season.

Youth Facilities are now tied to club reputation so when that goes up, check and ask the board.

I believe the club has to be 5 star reputation to get state of the art youth facilities but it could be 4.5 rep, I haven’t tested it fully

That’s weird, is your club high enough reputation wise? Probably need at least 3.5 star rep I would imagine.

@@LewisH90 spot on, your club has to be at least 3.5 rep. But instead if your lower than that you can ask for them to set up an affiliate that increase scouting in a different country, then after 6 months renegotiate with the club to add the youth link. But in general Going for the scouting option brings up better options and I’ve not yet found a team that don’t accept renegotiation after the 6 months to add youth connection.

I just add in determination, level of discipline and motivating and then untick senior coaches when clicking the include button top right of the search screen.

i need more proof 🤣
