haha, thank you ! That would have been cool. by brother in law played a federal agent on the new show release that came out. it was a cool thing to do for him. he is a real estate guy so he was like ... lets go! haha

@@jooohn8213 I think cybersecurity is a great field to get into Any certifications you are looking at? Cybersecurity is a good paying IT field

Learning the market is the answer to get millions out of poverty in America . I started putting 30 percent in stocks . I need to diversify and play catch up.

I totally know the feeling. i was so far behind when i was 45. i was in debt. little to no saved money or investments. i left for the middle ease to work in a war zone tax free for years. invested... changed everything. i was in a bad way so i had to make a radical move to get me back on track.

@@jooohn8213 sometimes they work 6 months on and 6 months off too And make as much as full time in the US Then shelter from taxes? Boom! This is awesome

i have a full phillipines video series from 2023. three locations and many videos. i would start there. watch those and get a good idea of the locations and costs

How to you find the low tax or no tax bonds/dividends you're speaking of, can you offer a few examples of those please.

Ok yes Most dividend stocks if you hold them for 12 months the income is no longer taxed as regular income I becomes qualified dividends The first 40k you earn that year is tax free Boom ! Everyone needs to work on this

Did you invest in individual companies, or a collective (like Dividend Artistocrats, etc.)? In a Roth?

I like the dividend aristocrats. also check out GenX dividend investor. great YT channel. dividend bull is another. I use mostly individual companies but i also have a few etfs like PICK, SPFF for bonds, and ABR and BAM for real estate exposure. How about you?

I am 47 and have nothing invested. 🤦‍♂️ Was just about to open a Roth IRA and thought I knew what I wanted to do, but started doing research and got all in the weeds with it and now not sure what to do any more. Looked at doing a simple 3 fund portfolio, buy and hold, don't touch it (example: FXAIX, FREL, and FBND or similar). Or some higher dividend ETFs and keep reinvesting those dividends back into it. Have looked at things like picking 12 individual stocks and setting it up for monthly dividends, and dividend income right now would be nice, but I'd have to have so much invested to ever see anything meaningful from it. Don't guess it much matters what I do strictly in terms of tax consequences when it comes to a Roth. For dividend income now, a taxable account if it's played right and actually can avoid the taxes. Could technically retire as early as 55 with a small pension, but not enough by itself and of course 59.5 for the Roth, 62+ on social security. Priority now is quit spinning my wheels and just do something.
