I am willing to bet money it will release on console without proper wheel support.
Gonna wait for reviews this time after I got truck driver on release day and regretted it straight away .
So when is the release date?
I have tried to keep cool with this game and the console delay. I was a bit cheesed off about the lack of communication and just threw my expectations in the bin with Truck Driver, On the Road and even Truck Logistics with the recent failed Roadmap. All of the above games I have bought as I’m really desperate for a good trucking game on console. I worry about optimisation of Alaska Truck but fingers crossed they have used this time to have it run sweet on current gen consoles. Will I buy it on release? Probably.. but I would love it if you had early access so I can get your valued opinion. Keep up the great work. Always love this channel.

I suppose you could say there hasnt really been a console delay as such, just a long wait for the date. I hope to have early access too.

@@germanwarrior6463 yes. You only have to go back and look at Jason’s Roadmap video. The original roadmap was “Supercar Enclosed Transporter” Q1. Which is March 2024.

@@germanwarrior6463 yes failed roadmap. You only have to look at the roadmap or look at Gametech’s Roadmap video to see “Supercar Enclosed Pack 1 DLC. Which was due out in Q1 - January to March 2024 Communication for me again is lost much like the Alaskan Truck and I’m just a bit fed up with it really. Hollow promises.

bought it on pc but cant get myself to play it much, it feels super janky compared to ets 2. Unfair comparison, i know lol. but i guess for console people with no good alternative this will be a blast.

Looking forward to this. Will play on console far more than I currently do on PC. No point playing on PC when I have ETS2 & ATS. IF this is done right, it will easily be best trucking game on console, for some time too imo.
This will be an instant buy for me, I can't wait for the console release.

Should be a winner
I would love to play it on my PS 5 if its not as buggy as the PC Version was in the beginning. My favourites at the moment are Snow Runner ( over 500 hours now ) and imo fantastic Expeditions which is definitely lots of fun, but - agreed upon - a bit another genre of game.
I'm still waiting for this for xbox x series so excited

Maybe not ATS, but ETS 2 should come to Consoles at least next year. Developers interview points towards that. They did put the game on a new engine that makes ports to Consoles easier and more likely. And why not generate additional money from already existing game if the ports work well. Additional money would be beneficiary for all players if invested wisely into game development. And if course nice for the developer. So - Win Win Situation.
